Family-friendly vacation rentals in Panama

We had a very enjoyable 1 week stay in this stylish and modern apartment, located in a building that is more like a luxury hotel than an apartment tower. The Space: As described and photographed. It’s a new building with plenty of high end finishes and a large amount of natural light throughout. Furnishings are also new and comfortable, and the apartment is outfitted for longer stays. This unit primarily had views of the city. The common areas are luxurious, with a pool that would be fitting in a luxury hotel and a well outfitted gym. 24 hour staffing were there for questions and security. Location: The Obarrio neighborhood has plenty to offer, but expect to use Ubers for most anything, as the Wanders & Yoo building is not in a highly walkable area, which was somewhat unexpected. The Hosts: Chantal & Brian were responsive and eager to be helpful. They were quick to address a minor maintenance issue.

This place was amazing. Everything is much better than in the pictures. Asta was very responsive and met us to give us a tour of the house. She was helpful with every step. Unfortunately our trip was cut short due to a family emergency, but we loved every minute that we were able to stay.

We’ve stayed in short-term rentals for years, and this was by far the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had! Exactly as pictured, with stunning views, well-stocked amenities, spotless cleanliness, and outstanding comfort. We highly recommend it and would love to return!

Perfect place for our three generation family trip. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. Lots of gathering spaces and excellent location to just pop outside quickly for a coffee or a meal. Fairly quiet and the cleaning ladies are just gems! The kids loved to dip in the pool after a hot outing and the ACs worked great for an afternoon nap. We didn’t cook at all as there are so many restaurants within walking distance.

Mauricio has always done an amazing hosting job. Attentive, direct and very helful..the top in my experience for a host! This unit was very unique and cozy for a couple or small family.. gorgeous architectual details.

This property was spectacular ! The details of the house made our stay an experience . John was always available to answer our questions. The view from the terrace was amazing and very calming, the house had everything that we needed and more. I can’t wait to go back and recharge my soul. Fully recommended!

The apartment served as a beautiful base for our family. The view is fantastic from the apartment and from the pool area. Robert and his daughter were very responsive and accommodating. Overall a great experience.

Juan was a wonderful host. Very flexible and extremely responsive to any question we had. The instructions were very helpful and easy to follow. The pool and garden were wonderful and very peaceful. The house was ni ely equipped with a full kitchen. You can walk to mini marts and a couple local restaurants inside the community as well as the beach. We felt very safe and the locals were very friendly. This is a great Airbnb if you are looking to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. We would definitely stay at Juans again. The property offers exceptional hospitality, a stunning natural setting, and a spacious, well-equipped environment. The accommodations are thoughtfully designed, with comfortable bedrooms and beds that ensure a pleasant stay. For those who appreciate nature, this is an ideal destination. My family, including my two daughters (ages 6 and 8), my wife, and my mother-in-law, thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We look forward to returning in the near future.

We had a nice family time at Lorena's house. The space is cozy, with spacious rooms and an external area to enjoy with friends and prepare an asado. The condominium pool has bohíos, allowing you to cool off while relaxing in a very nice atmosphere. The place is a perfect escape for a quiet vacation! Thank you Lorena. I wish we can return soon!

The house is amazing! Every room has a bathroom and a big living room. it has a great patio to share with family and friends. the swimming pool área is beautiful to see the sunset. The house is in a lovely quiet área. Stephen is always willing to answer any questions you have and he is an excellent host, as well as his wife.

Wonderful family vacation spot with numerous beautiful beaches accessible by kayak or walking . Easy to arrange tours with local captain /caretaker ( Shambu & Villemir) who knew the best spots and would check on us daily . Home is spectacular and has everything needed . Can’t wait to visit again !

Jon’s place was as described. A very serene setting. The grounds are lush and beautiful. And also a very easy walk to town. I would recommend one of Jon’s apartments for a wonderful stay.

Great to communicate with. Not too much or too little… There were 6 of us and we had room to get around without getting in the way. Several accessories are available and very convenient such as children's games, basketball, volleyball, music speaker and its chargers…. The place is very clean and well maintained, it feels good. Plenty of storage makes your stay easier. The place to offer is ideal for being with family and friends, the pool staff (which is at the end of the garden) is smiling and pleasant. We highly recommend this property.

I wish I could rate this location 10 stars!! This is such a beautiful home in such a phenomenal location. Everything in Venao is easily within walking distance with some of the best surfing ever right in your back yard. It is far enough away from the party scene that you can get a good night sleep but close enough that you can party all night long if you would like. The home is extremely well appointed with anything you may need in regards to cooking utensils and basic amenities. We needed nothing outside of food for our stay. Allison and Charlie and their team are all extremely responsive and incredibly helpful with anything you may need. top tier in every single way possible. This is one of the nicest homes in the area for an incredible price. You really cannot do better!!

Lovely & spacious house in a fabulous complex with a great social area, meticulously maintained grounds and pristine pool. The air bnb gives you access to a beach club ( a few minutes drive away) with shaded areas, out door showers right on the beach. The master bed was so comfortable!

Wonderful place to stay to relax and play golf. The condo is spacious and the outside terrace is a great place to have dinner in the evenings. The neighbourhood is very quiet so great for sleeping. Rick was a great host and was very responsive to our questions and proactively gave us recommendations which was great The golf course is excellent and the staff are wonderful. The walk to the course and pool is about 10 min but you can ask the golf cart folks to come and get you and drive you back for a small tip per trip which was great. The pool and gym were very clean and on most days we had the place to ourselves. The location is close to grocery stores so you can Uber to them for under $4 if you decide like us to skip the hassle of renting a car. Overall a great place and we will definitely return and would highly recommend it.

Loved the place! Fully fenced in case if you go with your dog he can run around. Pool area super and house perfect to what is needed for a great weekend.

We had an absolutely magical stay at this incredible Airbnb! Nestled in the jungle with parrots and monkeys, it was only a short walk to a secluded beach. The sound of the waves from the deck was so peaceful and added to the charm of the place. We loved taking sunset walks on the beach, searching for shells, and simply enjoying the breathtaking views. The pool was a huge hit with our kids. The Airbnb itself was spotless, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Michael and Lynn were fantastic hosts—super responsive, accommodating, and went above and beyond, even letting us have a late check-out so we could enjoy one last surf session before heading back to Panama City. The location was perfect, just a 15-minute drive to Playa Morrillo for daily surfing and another 15 minutes to the charming town of Torio. We loved this place and can’t wait to visit again one day soon. Highly recommend!
