Waterfront vacation rentals in Ohio River

We really enjoyed our stay at Amy’s place! The apartment was very cute and homey with all amenities you could need. The location was great for exploring some of the parts of New River Gorge National Park off the beaten path, and it was beautiful and peaceful being right on the river. The trains passing by were a bit loud during the night and the water did have a sulphur smell, however, those things are listed in the description of the apartment, so it did not impact my rating since we came in knowing what to expect. Amy was also a very responsive and friendly host!

Deni's place was perfect. Gorgeous setting and immaculately clean. Deni was very communicative and so kind. The home is off the beaten path but also very close to everything. The listing honestly doesn't so the actual rental justice. It was much larger than expected. Will definitely stay again.

Great deal for everything you get, we wanted a quiet weekend before holiday craziness started and it was exactly what we wanted! The hosts were so helpful and clear and quickly responded to questions. We hope to come back in the summer time!

Just as advertised, modern, clean. and comfortable. The rooftop patio view was beautiful, the building was secure, and it was in an area perfect for us. I would stay here again!

Cute apartment! I stayed there in the winter, but the proximity to the river would be great in warm weather. I appreciated having access to extra towels. The corner shower may be challenging for people with a big frame.

This space had everything I was looking for in my weekend getaway. It was quiet, private, clean, quaint and walkable to the shops and restaurants. The private deck was wonderful to relax on in the evenings. The hosts were very responsive and friendly.

We had an excellent Labor Day weekend. The cottage met our needs and kept us comfortable while we boated, swam, ate, and participated in the Indian Lake Ring of Fire festivities (with LED “torches”). Thanks Kent for the hospitality, and thank your brother for the quick and friendly communication!

This was our second time we have stayed at one of Ryan's properties. His properties are beautiful you can see that from the photos. Our stay was so relaxing and enjoyable exactly what we all needed. We felt welcomed and "hosted" throughout our marvelous three-night stay. Shari went out of her way to provide a wonderful home for our family as we gathered from multiple states. The accommodations exceeded expectations. She intuitively provided items in the home that even we (experienced guests) didn't anticipate. Everything about our time at Dock Holiday was a step above. Communication could not have been better. Everything was perfectly in order for a tremendous time away from the busyness of Nashville. Our many thanks for this special location, special home, and special time!

This is the 2nd time we stayed in Ruth's Airbnb house. We were very pleased with the house and property. There were 7 of us and the sleeping arrangements was fine. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. We ate out one night at a local restaurant and cooked steaks on the gas grill the next night. She has an outdoor lp firepit that looked brand new. The weather was perfect. I walked down to the lake and saw a white pelican. In the front yard we saw several deer. We even played cornhole from her game collections in the garage.

Stayed at Kari’s place for the weekend and had a wonderful time with my family. I definitely would book with her again! She was very proactive with instructions and flexible with check in/out times. The house was super clean and the view from the back porch was beautiful! We also had great weather and were able to use the kayaks that were available. Made some great memories.

Our stay was absolutely fabulous! I’ve stayed at dozens of Airbnb’s and can confidently say that Richard’s place is one of the cleanest. The home is stunning, with so many large windows overlooking the water. The pictures truly don’t do it justice. We’re already planning 2 stays there over the summer.

Booked for a family member driving through in need of a place to crash for the night. Marshall was understanding and very responsive. Check in instructions were clear and things went smoothly!

Loved my stay! The yard was so cute and the inside was beautifully decorated. Very cozy. I will definitely stay again! Location is truly unbeatable. Loved it so much!!

It was a really nice place all re done inside. The boat slip is farther than I thought with a house in front of the duplex blocking the view of the lake. Other than that the place was spot on. All amenities were great. The beds were amazing and the host was super helpful if anything came up to help right away. The lake is literally right there, its located near to Benton which has everything you need. Def recommend this place and hope to come back and use the boat slip next time!

If I had to describe this place to someone I would describe it as a mix between fish camp and memaw’s house. We were only there for a quick overnight so I can’t speak to the quality of the fishing. We did see some other folks fishing and they appeared to be doing well.

I loved the place. Clean, great view, clear instructions and the lake was lovely.

I’m a former student at OU and I really enjoyed this Air BNB. It was very clean and cozy. Very close to the highway and uptown court street. Angie was very accommodating as my flight landed early and I asked to check in early. I will definitely be staying there again if the future!
