Amazing host, amazing property. Hard to leave

The beauty of this location astounded us! It’s dreamy and so private. The 2 hummingbirds and 2 rescue horses make it even more idyllic. We saw the most amazing sunset of our lives. It’s the most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed in our lives. Thanks so much for sharing this magnificent place. The drive is worth it!

Wow, this place is so incredible! You're looking around, trying to choose between similar looking AirBnb's, and sometimes you just get super lucky. This place is an absolute gem! Beautiful and private surroundings doesn't quite capture it--it's on its own nature preserve with walking trails, a swimming pool, and a plethora of gorgeous plants and trees. We saw so many exotic birds just from the spacious balcony, which also has commanding views all the way to the ocean, as well as a hot tub! And the hosts were very thoughtful and went the extra mile--incredibly nice and considerate folks. This place is such a great find--we were so sad to leave. Thanks so much for the amazing stay!

Great place. Great location, 3 min drive to montezuma. Very affordable . Comfy bed. We loved the balcony (at night and early mornings) and had moths the size of my hand (owl moths) land hear us, we saw moneys, iguanas, and cutter ants.

This was a destination in itself. When it was clear ( not too often during our stay) the view of Volcan Arenal was magnificent from the wonderful porch. There was some unexpected road construction which closed road with 5km of Casita del Volcan but David quickly sent an alternate route. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet here and were very content to sit on porch when not raining and just inside house when it was. Will definitely stay here again when we make it back to Costa Rica.

Wanderlust was absolutely amazing! Just like the pictures and just as I imagined. I celebrated my 45th birthday weekend with six girlfriends. When planning this birthday trip I knew I wanted a jungle paradise experience and Jai delivered. The villa was safe, clean and had all the amenities mentioned in the description. Jai was a prompt and attentive host. The concierge service she provided gave endless recommendations for restaurants, entertainment and experiences. Although our trip wasn’t long, we were able to fit a day of excursions and a day of relaxation without feeling overwhelmed or rushed. We hiked, zip lined, toured, got massages in the garden and had a yoga class. Our last night a private chef prepared dinner and we had a surprise fire show! 🔥 I highly recommended allowing Jai to curate your vacation at Villa Wanderlust. Pura Vida!! ❤️

I can’t say enough about Jennie and her beautiful home. Our family of five all had enough space to spread out. She provided a lot of recommendations and was very responsive which is nice when you are visiting another country. Her recommendations were spot on and we had a blast visiting this beautiful part of the world.

Wow! What an extraordinary stay! Every nook and cranny of this house had some artistic flare. The colors were coordinated and creative. It was such a warm and inviting home. Of course having Beth for a host made it all the better! We were greeted warmly with freshly baked banana bread and lemonade. We also had delicious coffee and bananas that had been grown on their own land! Of course it’s not all about the food. Beth offered to give us a tour of her grounds with all kinds of whimsical touches. she also pointed us in the direction of our tour leader, Juan. He took us for a night rainforest hike and a hike through the cloud forest. He was amazing. a good portion of our mornings and evenings were spent on the porches. The morning was amazing for birdwatching. I’ve never been a birdwatcher but this was just amazing! we even saw an Emerald Toucan!! This was a fabulous stay at a wonderful Airbnb!

Breathtaking and beautiful, this home was just the one we needed during our trip to Costa Rica. The views were incredible, the amenities plentiful, and the host kind and responsive. Lots of gorgeous scenery that is peaceful and a perfect patio to enjoy coffee in the morning with a view of the gulf and mountains. You can also walk to the stables, see the horses and cows. The location is also great, a short drive to the town and all the things-to-do. My group and I wished we could have stayed longer but this place will be a MUST for our next trip back to Costa Rica. You won’t regret booking this Airbnb. Pura Vida!

Amazing place. We stayed there, working remotely and enjoying Costa Rica for a month or so. First, the host's support was out of this world. They would answer our questions and fix them within the same day. It was quite impressive. Now, the house. Great 3-stories house. Amazing pool. (beware, it's not a warm jacuzzi tho) The view of the jungle was breathtaking. Great amenities, clean house, and cleaning team for the pool and house were great. However, since this house is on top of a little hill, I am not sure we could have come to it without an SUV. Finally, the location was great. 5 mins from Villareal. 13 mins from Tamarindo. Close enough, but far enough in the jungle, we felt at peace, away from the noise and busyness of the city. Overall, I recommend it, and I will come back for sure! This place was great for remote workers, with office chairs and desks in every room.

The view is simply amazing. You can't beat that. Wish we stayed longer. The jacuzzi was so nice to have after a long day full of activities. The house itself has everything for a comfortable stay, comfy beds, clean shower with hot water, clean kitchen with salt/sugar/oil/coffee. The host responds right away. We recommend 100%. Traveled as a family with a kid.

Amazing place to stay - especially for a family. It had the convenience of an air b&b with all the amenities of a hotel: restaurant, laundry, pool, hot springs, spa, and daily cleaning and breakfast! We especially enjoyed the on-site farm with activities for the kids including egg collecting, cow milking and short horse rides. I felt really lucky to have come across this place and hope to be back one day!

Agustin’s place in La Fortuna is STUNNING. The surrounding yard/farm/river and views are top notch. This is a great peaceful getaway especially if you like being in nature. It’s also only a 10/15 min drive to the main La Fortuna town center where all the tours/restaurants, etc are. Be mindful that Agustin’s place is deep in the property but his directions on Google are accurate! Just make sure to find the green gate and follow the road until you see the cabin on the left! Stay here for your next trip to La Fortuna!

We spent some incredible days with the family, we all enjoyed even the puppies of the house, the gentleman who takes care of the property very friendly and helpful, the beautiful property clean and tidy, excellent attention, you can observe some beautiful sunsets

We had a wonderful stay here. Very pleasant villa, lots of space and light. We also much enjoyed the outdoor tub/ shower. The sounds of the creek were great to fall asleep to. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped. The location was fine, within 15 minutes or so to either Montezuma or Santa Teresa. We would come back!

The view over the lake arenal is just phenomenal! The house has a huge garden with some fruits, herbs & vegetables wich we were allowed to eat. We can for sure recommend.

Great place for a family in La Fortuna. Close to amenities, with a private gated and secure home to yourself. Home also has a safe. Lovely view of the volcano. It is on a the main road going to la Fortuna waterfalls, there is a lot of road traffic which can be noisy. Bring plugs, sound machines and eye masks if needed. The pool and outdoor area was very spacious and a great addition to the home. Be sure to check out the rest of the property, the campground has a beautiful river that is swimmable. Laundry facility can be opened upon request. The host will meet you to provide remote for gate and entry instructions upon your arrival. They were very responsive and helpful.

House is on a dairy farm, cozy and comfortable. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking, thank you very much. You do need to buy your food before you go since it is a little remote. There is someone working in the middle of the night next to the house and that might bother you if you are a light sleeper. One of the bathroom does not have hot water at the time and it seems common that kitchen does not have hot water. We are ok since there is another bathroom has warm enough water for shower.

Was a terrific place, great view, clean, perfect for what we wanted. The drive up was a little precarious, but worth it! Only piece of helpful feedback is to have a bottle or can opener. :)

We had three wonderful nights in this idyllic cottage. The location is just perfect - a peaceful scenery, surrounded by nature with great hiking opportunities and adventurous activities in the immediate vicinity. The house itself offers a perfect layout for a family or two couples, with lovingly designed rooms that invite you to relax. A special highlight was the wildlife right on the doorstep - we were able to observe hummingbirds, horses and even a coati! Contact with Oscar was always very pleasant. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing break, this is the right place for you. We would definitely come back!

We enjoyed a very comfortable home in a beautiful place. We did a boat tour on the lake and another on horseback on the mountain. We only stayed one night but wanted to make the most of it. I recommend staying more nights because there is so much in the area to enjoy.

We arrived after dark so finding the driveway was challenging for our driver, but once there we were warmly greeted & settled in quickly. It’s a fabulously designed place & perfect for two couples. We loved eating on the deck & used the outdoor plunge pool frequently. For me, the big bonus was visiting the goats every day & tasting the fabulous goat cheese made on the farm. The nearby beaches are fantastic but do be sure to rent a 4x4 as the roads are a test for the driver.

The place is a little secluded, which is perfect for resting after a day of traveling. We had a private red macaw show in the early morning straight from the balcony. The accommodation was spotless, and the atmosphere was very pleasant for the dinners on the terrace! Simply beautiful!
