Beachfront vacation rentals in Nicoya Peninsula

This is our fourth trip to La Casita by Lina!! we fell in love the very first time and have no reason to be anywhere else. It’s quiet, steps away from an amazing beach, and we enjoy the beautiful sunsets. There are two fabulous restaurants within a one to two minute walk. They have happy hour and great music (which is always done before 10 PM). You can take boat trips, snorkel, and rent jet skis through nearby businesses. Karol does housekeeping several times during the week and upon request did a small load of laundry for us. We do rent a car so it’s a quick trip into Coco Beach for anything and everything we could imagine including a gym. Lina is very accommodating and we can always do luggage drop off if it’s earlier than the 3 PM check-in. The space is absolutely perfect for us to completely unplug from work and our usual day-to-day busyness!!!! we are already looking at next year’s calendar. Thank you again, Lina, for another wonderful stay.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It's a beautiful location and walking out the gate you're on the beach. The house was very clean and seemed very well maintained. We enjoyed watching the monkeys overhead but decided it's best to stay under the deck roof to avoid the mangos they were occasionally dropping. We're very glad we stayed here and hope to return again in the future.

: Fantastic Beachside Getaway with Excellent Amenities and a Wonderful Host! I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful Airbnb, just a stone’s throw from the beach. The location is absolutely perfect, making it easy to enjoy the ocean whenever we wanted. The house itself is extremely well-equipped, with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay—from a fully stocked kitchen to cozy living spaces. Maud was welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing, beachside retreat!

What an incredible stay we had at Casa Del Ray David! The proximity to the beach, the beautiful backyard landscaping and pool, and responsiveness of Askel and her team- it was a dream vacation. We HIGHLY recommend checking out the local surf comp at Vida Hermosa every Saturday and taking a surf lesson with Hermosa Riders! If you are a surfer, this place is for you. Playa Hermosa is a heck of a break and we had a great time surfing. We had chef Leo (2 nights) make extraordinary meals that had us wanting for more. And the sweet outdoors cats were bonus. We will be back!

I could live there! What a wonderful home and especially the back yard. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, grill and outside seating/dining area. The home was very clean and we had plenty of room for 4 adults. The community was clean and we felt very safe. There was a restaurant within the community, and they had a few beach chairs available. The beach was clean, but the waves were pretty rough so we spent more time in the pool which was delightful. There is also a small grocery store within the gates as well. You really don't need to leave if you don't want to. Elizabeth was extremely responsive and answered all our questions. I highly recommend this property for a relaxing visit to Costa Rica.

Spencer responded within minutes when asked for dinner recommendations which were great restaurants. Steps from the beach and there were beach towels available with chairs.

I cannot recommend this Airbnb enough! Not only was the space absolutely beautiful—thoughtfully designed, clean, and perfectly located—but the hospitality was beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. Amazing Stay at Pipas Surf House! We had an incredible time at Pipas Surf House! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and perfect for surfers and travelers looking for a great place to stay. Our host was extremely helpful and friendly, always going out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Whether it was local recommendations, surf advice, or just great conversation, they made our stay even better. The accommodations were comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a perfect surf getaway. If you're looking for a laid-back, homey place to stay with an incredible gym, Pipas Surf House is the spot. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful experience with our two kids. We could walk to the beach we could swim in the pool and stare at the ocean. We saw Scarlet Macca’s and even whales! Definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

10/10 recommend! We stayed in Villa #1, closest to the beach, and WOW. The description was exactly what we experienced in person and everything was breathtaking. Glori, you made our stay even more "at home" with your persistent communication and genuine kindness, that you've set the bar HIGH for what a host should be like. We lucked out and had the entire footprint to ourselves, as the other 2 homes were not booked. This left the beach and common areas totally private and serene. The beach and streets are walkable in either direction, with a nice grocery store right across the street about 2 minutes away that has everything you would need. Restraunts and shopping were just around the corners as well, although during off season not everything was opened (as expected). I am already looking forward to returning, thank you AGAIN, for the wonderful stay.

I’ve been to CR multiple times in Airbnb. This was by far the best place Ive stayed in. Spectacular house, spacing and little things (good kitchen, pool patio everything)…Katie was a great host, responsive and most importantly a really nice person. Highly recommend 🤙🏼

This place was fantastic. My last trip to Nosara I paid more for a hotel room and it was so inferior. The location is fantastic. The apartment with the private pool is really romantic. Super close to the break and fun part of town but also private and safe. This is my spot from now on.

I feel the best way to describe Christy... she's that friendly, helpful neighbor that is ALWAYS available for help when you ask for it... super communicated, extremely helpful. thank you Christy for your part in us having a wonderful vacation.

Stacey’s place is amazing. Close / walkable to the little downtown. You are on the beach AND a jungle paradise. We saw coatis, toucans, monkeys, parrots, an agouti, heard howler monkeys, iguana. The home is comfortable and has everything you need. It rained a ton and there’s no dryer but there’s a laundry service in town. Bring extra towels for the beach. We cooked most nights and breakfasts and the kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans. Ximena is so kind and responsive and Jairo was so helpful. We highly recommend staying in this beachside paradise.

We loved staying Aaron’s home, it felt like an oasis with a beautiful garden and private pool. It was only a few minutes walk to Playa Guiones, with walkable distance to surf board rentals, cafes and delicious restaurants. The home was beautifully appointed with comfortable beds and lots of storage. We felt welcomed and well taken care of at every turn, muchas gracias Aaron!

We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to visit again. The house is in the perfect location- a short walk to town and just steps from the beach. We also all fell in love with Missy. She is the sweetest dog. The owners are very responsive to any questions. They met us there to check in and even messaged me with restaurant and grocery store recommendations.

Once you pass through the gates and out of the Santa Teresa traffic it is like you enter a different world. You have your own personal slice of Santa Teresa where you can enjoy yourself and be one with Nature. You are right on the beach and can listen to the waves crashing all night long. When you wake up the monkeys are snacking on the leaves of the trees above you. You will not be disappointed if you book this home. Pia is very responsive and the whole crew who help with maintaining this property are respectful and friendly. There are limited homes with beach access and your own property you don't have to share and this one stands out. We enjoyed our time here and if we come back to Santa Teresa we would 100% book again.

Our family loved the location of Casa Circa Del Mar, it is wonderful being so close to the beach and not having to drive all the time . We also enjoyed the pool so much and had many wonderful meals outside on the Veranda . The house was amazing with so much space and has everything you need. The Host was very kind and always available and responsive. We were celebrating an 80th Birthday and she had decorations and candles for us which was very sweet.

We travelled in a group of 3 adults and a toddler, the place was very comfortable for a family holiday. House is beautiful and has everything you might need for cooking etc. it is very safe - located in a gated community. The ocean is very near. We had a car rented and it would have been more difficult without one. We had a very lovely stay. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Pipa! The home was exactly as advertised. Iris was so easy to work with; helped with dinner reservations. Excellent guide/resource book emailed prior to arrival. Manfred the local house manager was so nice to work with, orient us to the home, and make us feel welcome immediately. We enjoyed Manfred's homemade pastries; so delicious! The home is very clean and comfortable. We found the beds and pillows very comfortable. So private and the private beach access was just magical! Was so nice to go through the gate, walk a beautiful little forest path, to find the amazing beach and Pacific ocean!!! Any questions; answered immediately. Just a total chill place for ultimate relaxation while being able to walk the neighborhood and enjoy the lovely small restaurants and market. We didn't rent a car and didn't feel the need for one. Our driver brought us to the supermarket before our arrival so we had everything we needed; the home, pool, beach!! Thank you!!!

Our stay at Jarrod’s place was incredible! Best vacation house you could ask for. Perfect location right on the beach but still super private. Having a swimming pool right on the ocean is about as good as it gets, we usually spend most of our vacation time at the beach but this house was so great we wound up spending more time by the pool. Also the house is stocked very well, everything an Airbnb/rental house should have this house has. Jarrod was very accommodating and helped us with transportation and Covid testing at the house. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting the Playa Negra area! We will definitely be coming back!

Really great spot for a quiet and relaxing vacation on the ocean. This beach house is beautiful and the hosts were quick to address any issues that arose. The sunsets were fantastic.
