Family-friendly vacation rentals in Yucatan

We had a wonderful stay at Maria’s since it our son’s wedding in Merida, we needed room for the grooms family and a place to relax. The home was spectacular and unique. The rooms all had AC and were huge! The bathrooms were amazing and the courtyards were peaceful and the pool area was perfect at the end of a long day with families. Highly recommend!!

Anne is absolutely the very best host we’ve ever had over the years we’ve been traveling as a family. She is very attentive and communicative from months out before our stay til the final day. Her goal is to make sure everyone is happy and enjoys their beautiful place. They live next door so is extremely helpful as anything needed is taken care of immediately. Their huge beautiful resort is everything you can ask for as it is secluded and private and was perfect for our large family. We had a family of 16 and never felt confined with plenty of room. They have at least 8 very large sized bedrooms that were very clean, cozy and beautifully decorated. I would highly recommend getting her local friends to clean and cook. The authentic food was plentiful and very delicious and definitely worth the value. My personal only regret is not meeting her awesome husband Quincey til our last day. I could’ve hung out with him all week 🙌.. Overall, we were extremely satisfied and will return !!

We love the house and it is the second time we have visited the area, it is inside an incredible ranch, very nice and quiet, have a coffee in the morning and listen to the birds is priceless. My son loved it, I didn't want to get out of there.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Ivonne’s place. She is an excellent host—responsive, prompt, and courteous. The house is well maintained, equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The pool was lovely for relaxation. The location is close to major shopping centers, grocery stores, and restaurants especially Habaneros. We definitely hope to stay here again when we return to Mérida.

We were very pleased with this property! We felt very comfortable and the property was close to everything we wanted to do. Internet, A/C, water heater, water pressure and washer dryer were all great when used. Loved having the outdoor space as well. Hoping to return again!

Very nice and good human being….love they place

We had an amazing stay at Elena's condo! The place is clean, great location and had everything you need to call it "home" for your stay. Washer and dryer in the unit is a bonus! The pool is great and they look after it daily. Elena was very prompt with her replies and was always available or had someone available if you have any questions or need anything Thank you Elena for a great stay and positive experience! We would definitely recommend and be back!!

We went with friends and family and had a wonderful time

We had a few wonderful days in the house. It is very well equipped, very clean and the beds are very comfortable. There is a small supermarket on site for the most important things and Valadolid is not far away for a larger shopping. From there you could visit numerous things. It is very quiet and also well guarded. There is even a horseback riding facility for children. We can only recommend the house.

Location was quiet and a short walk to restaurants, markets, central plaza, and the malecon. Beds were comfortable and Wi-Fi was strong. We especially enjoyed having a table in the courtyard and eating outdoors. We enjoyed our stay.

All has been super easy with Alejandrina. You can't imagine such a place on the street. It's really green. The end of the street on which the accommodation is located is not necessarily reassuring at first, especially when you are walking. However, we can see that we are really a 10 minute walk to the San Bernardino Monastery and the beautiful Rue La Calzada de los Frailes. Despite the high number of dogs in this area, the nights were very quiet, we slept very well!

Everything is very good, excellent host. there were even small details in the kitchen that are appreciated. I would live the experience again. Very quiet area. Answered doubts and was on the lookout.

Harriet was such an amazing host! She gave us great tips to explore Valladolid and really made us feel at home. She even welcomed us with some breakfast goodies, which was such a nice touch. Throughout our stay, she was always super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Plus, she’s an incredibly talented author! We had a great time and would totally recommend staying at her place!!

The location was perfect. The house sits on a main road but has private parking that blocks any heavy noise that the road might bring. It is right on the sea with just a few steps down and you are directly on a sandy beach. The pool was clean and perfect for a quick dip to cool off. There was plenty of outdoor furniture that was comfortable and clean. The house was fantastic. It has 3 very large bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom, the other two share a bathroom. There were some very good details on how to operate everything in the house that ranged from how to hang a hammock to how to operate the on-demand hot water. There were plenty of items in the kitchen and everything we needed (although we didn't cook a dinner-time meal.) The bathrooms were clean with good water pressure and up to date. All the beds were comfortable and we all slept well. Christine and Sonja were instantly available and happy to offer suggestions and recommendations when we asked.

Beautiful home centrally located, the kids loved the pool! Very comfortable beds! The host is super helpful with recommendations and transportation arrangements. We loved Merida and hope to be back soon!

We loved our time at Neil’s place in Mérida! Neil seems to have thought of everything you may need or want for a comfortable stay. It was an easy and interesting walk into the center. We loved the back garden and pool area. The internet was fast and reliable (I was working remotely and easily took many Zoom calls without connection issues). Would highly recommend Neil’s place and I would stay again on a future trip to Mérida!

We loved visiting Merida and staying at Mariana's beautiful home. We had four couples and there was plenty of room for each to have privacy but also come together for breakfast, share the pool and plan excursions and dinners. There are many activities to do in and around Merida, and we found having our own cars was very helpful for getting out into the larger area. Having garage space at the house was great, as street parking is a bit tricky by the house. Around town, we walked, as there are many great restaurants, museums and shops within close range. Additionally, it was very fun for us was having Mariana's housekeeper, Librada, make breakfast for us each day. She was a delightful person and a great cook! We would love to visit Merida again and if we do, we hope we can stay at Mariana's home again.

Adriana's house is very close, the patio where the pool is is very spacious and pleasant. All spaces match the photos. The house is spacious and super cute all rooms have TV and air conditioning. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this place. Just as a tip that has nothing to do with the house, it suggests to take or rent a car to get around easier.

Great home, it felt like it was my own very comfortable. The views from the top floor were amazing. Every bedroom had its own amazing spacious bathroom. The A/C units all worked well and kept us nice and cool while we slept as well during the day when it was at its hottest outside. It felt like a little oasis in the middle of the city, the swimming pool was nice and cool perfect for those hot days. The location of the home is perfect, everything you need is within walking distance. The host was very attentive to any messages and questions.I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with a large family.

Fantastic spot for our family of four. Super convenient to the hip restaurants and parks surrounding La Plancha without all the traffic and noise. Host offered great recommendations to find the best local spots. Very responsive. 10/10 recommend!

Had a perfect stay at Casa Frida! Beautiful house and great location, close to main square and convenience store. Pool is super nice and loved the hammock, also lots of cats and lizards but they mind their own business. Comfy beds with air conditioner in both rooms which cool the room very fast. Would come back :)
