House vacation rentals in York

This was our second time at Phils, first time to celebrate my 70th second time for my husbands 75th. When I asked my family where they wanted to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday it was Phils place. Its perfect for our multi-generational family, amples of space and the pool and hot tub are the icing on the cake. We all had the best time and we made lots of memories. Thank you Phil for the use of your lovely home.

The college condition and feel is a real credit to the hard work Angela and staff put in. It feels like you’re at home from the moment you walk through the door and the views a just breathtaking. The bath towels feel amazing and the cottage is very well stocked with everything you need in the way of equipment and also of a very good quality. We were lucky enough to have some very fine weather and completed some great local walks and running routes. There wasn’t one thing that I could fault with this whole experience and can’t wait to book again.

Expensive but worth every penny for our 4 generation trip. Rooms for exuberant kids and quiet rooms for 90+ years old great grand parents. Large sociable kitchen diner . Swim spa at 35c so great for the Californian kids.

Fantastic weekend was had with 11 adults and 2 dogs, everyone was very happy. The house was beautiful with everything you will need and more! The evenings in the garden were a dream. Can’t recommend this place enough.

We had a magical stay at Apple Cottage. The garden, glass house, chickens and ducks were a cottage life fantasy, we did not want to leave! The pool was amazing. The local area was pretty and we would definitely recommend a trip to Thornton-Le-Dale.

I stayed here with my partner and our families to celebrate my birthday, it was the perfect location and space to share time together. Ellie was incredibly helpful when we had a couple of queries. The house is beautiful and works perfectly for a larger family or group of friends to spend time together. The rooms were lovely with added bonus of a utility area, snooker room and the option of exclusive use of the pool on site, which is amazing, it is immaculately clean, has a TV, music system and a warm pool, we all loved this. It was a short drive into Malton, only 4 miles and easy to arrange taxi's if you want a drink. The grounds are beautiful for a walk. I would highly recommend a say here. Lovely house, lots of room, very nice bathroom and very clean. Great location- just down the road from the Picturedrome and shops, bars and cafes. Host very responsive and helpful, and check in and out process very straightforward. Would recommend :)

What a fab house this is. We stayed for 6 weeks and did not want to leave. Jo was always on hand if we needed anything but the house is so well set up that we rarely did. The location is fab on a quiet back street but a COOP, Indian and nice bar all within a few mins walk. The house is really well presented and has everything you’d need for a short or longer stay. The hot tub is a great addition and the garden feels really private. All the bedrooms are a great size and perfect for couples. I can’t rate this place highly enough! Full 5 stars from us!

We had a great stay at Michael’s. The accommodation was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the fun Yorkshire signs around the house. It was within walking distance to the local town centre or a short drive away as well as the local leisure centre (Metrodome) and football stadium. We’d definitely stay again when we come to visit relatives and the local area.

We had a wedding in York and booked Dawn’s house on all the reviews and recommendations. We were not at all disappointed! Very spacious house with all we needed. Getting into town was easy and being near to the station was good for my son and his girlfriend who also stayed with us. I would throughly recommend staying here Dawn kept us informed on all aspects of our stay. Thank you for an amazing time!

Perfect location for gettingvout and about in West Yorkshire with takeaways and supermarkets walkable and nearby. Valentinos Italian restaurant was fab for dinner too. Our hosts wetr friendly and helpful wiyhout being intrusive. The lodge garden area was a great sunspot and it was lovely reading in the chillout room overlooking the park after a busy day. Really recommend.

Had such a great time staying here! The place was super clean, comfy, and had everything I needed. The vibe was cozy and chill—exactly what I was hoping for. The host was super friendly and quick to respond if I had any questions. Location was super convenient too—close to everything but still nice and quiet. Would totally stay here again. We had a lovely stay at this annex. We had pretty much everything we could need. The snacks and wine were a nice touch. The annex was clean and well-presented. It was a bit cold in the annex but there was a heater and an electric blanket in the bed.

Great communication from the host, enjoyed our stay here it lovely, clean and would definitely use this place again. Also easy parking especially having a van! Thank you!

A lovely, spacious family home with plenty of room for everyone. The setting suited us perfectly, a big private driveway, lots of parking, and backing on to open fields. The kitchen diner is a great space, with patio doors out to a large garden. The sitting room is also lovely and very spacious. The house was spotlessly clean and well-equipped with the basics, there was a big range cooker which was perfect as we were cooking for a small family gathering. With such a large space downstairs and all the facilities, it was also easily accessible for family members who are not so mobile. The location is very easy to find, a few minutes from the M180 but in the peaceful village of Belton. Alison was very helpful, always quick to respond, and nothing was too much trouble. All in all we had a great stay, thank you.

having been let down by our original holiday home we needed a place to stay at very short notice. we inquired about maple house and within 2 hours we were actually in the property. fabulous help and service from the team there.

I cannot fault our stay. The home is well equipped with comfortable beds. The place has a lovely homely feel to it. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
