Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in York

We used this as a base for a couple of days cycling and it was ideal. Fiona and James were very friendly. Everything was as expected. Short (but slightly muddy) walk to a pleasant pub serving good food.

Carole and Mike are very nice, friendly and helpful. They gave us lots of advice for sightseeing around York. Carole would tell us the time for taking a bus to York City Center every day. We are afraid of being cold, Mike tried his very best to give us more heat by burning fire to send more heat to our room. We wanted to go to Sunday worship, Carole is kindly to bring us to her church by car, and we enjoyed the church service very much. It is a very quiet and peaceful place, everything is clean, and the bed is very comfortable, we slept very well there. We cooked our meals in the house, and everything needed for cooking is ready and convenient. That's really a good place to rest. We highly recommend it to people to stay there for a holiday. We really appreciate Carole and Mike, and thank them from our hearts!

The place to stay if you want an incredible service and a lovely room. It had everything we needed and Kirsty even had veggie sausages and soy milk/yoghurt for the breakfast in the morning. Super friendly and would definitely stay again if I was in the area.

We stayed here for 2 nights to attend a family event. Couldn't fault anything. Massive comfy bed and beautiful quality bed linen. Fresh milk, which is a bonus and lovely large shower with quality toiletries.

Susan was a great host. Lovely full english breakfast in the morning, and good recommendation of a pub down the road for tea. She even made me a ham sandwich and pastry for lunch. Would fully recommend

Lovely b&b, very comfortable, clean room with everything you need. I felt it was even better than the description. The en suite was spotless, the bed comfortable and there was a good sized tv as well as separate sitting room with a microwave, fridge and tv if required. Maria was a friendly and welcoming host and made a delicious breakfast with plenty of choice.

Irene is a great host...I enjoyed staying at her place.

Helen and Mike were the perfect hosts from start to finish. I booked the accommodation last minute for the trip and with it being my 1st time in the area I had a few questions before I booked and they were answered quickly. Their accommodation was spotless, room was massive and one of the comfiest beds I’ve slept on. The b n b was a 6-7 minute walk from where I needed to be in the centre of Harrogate, from the convention centre and bars /restaurants making it ideal and they provided free on street parking tickets which was great. The breakfast was superb too and had the feeling the hosts couldn’t have been more helpful. I will definitely be returning to the area next year and will be looking to re book the same accommodation again. Many thanks for making my trip good one. X

A lovely welcoming couple and very accommodating during our stay. . they made us feel right at home. A comfortable and pretty room, very nice facilities and even waited on at breakfast! A reasonable price and a great location to hop on the park and ride in to York. We really enjoyed our weekend. We will certainly be back on our next excursion this way. Thank you and all the best x

We really enjoyed our stay. The room has beautiful views, and is clean and comfy. Diana and her partner were really helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was a really nice surprise with fresh orange juice, fresh fruit, and homemade fruit jams! Diana also got some oat milk and dairy free margarine for me which was very kind. On our arrival we were greeted with a fresh pot of tea which was lovely. We used one of their local walk guides to do a circular walk which was also fun. I liked seeing the geese and chickens in the garden too. A very peaceful place. Would love to come back and stay again! Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable Diana :)

A very beautiful room in a beautiful building. The bed was extremely comfortable and as this was a last minute booking, I was super grateful to find complimentary shampoo and conditioner. The room was pristinely clean too. Unfortunately our room only had a shower and not the bath listed which was a little disappointing but I still got the relaxing evening I needed. A great location for exploring Harrogate.

Fantastic host. Manor Farm was home from home. Very peaceful and exactly what we wanted. David and family were fantastic. Very knowledgeable The breakfast was just what the doctor ordered. A+++++++

We felt at home the breakfast were excellent the room and house was to our expectations we would definitely stay again and recommend to our family and friends. Cary and David were helpful and friendly and gave my wife and I an excellent start to our days with a most enjoyable breakfast. I would like to thank them both for making our break special.

We had a lovely stay, everything was spotless and the room was really nice. Rachael left coal for us in the main room if we wanted a fire in the evening and was very welcoming at breakfast. Breakfast was lovely and everything was as described. Would definitely visit again!

Our room was beautiful, lovely and clean and the area is very peaceful.

We stayed here two nights & felt very rested; Deborah was a lovely natural host, making feel at home, including giving us a mixed continental breakfast. All facilities were ideal for a comfortable stay & there was a kindness & generosity to everything, including unlimited wood for the stove, TV in our room as well as in a spacious lounge. Considering we were sharing Deborah's home we had a good amount of privacy & independence.

Claire made us feel at home from the moment she opened the front door she even us a drink and piece of christmas cake on our arrival

Amazing mattress I didn't want to get up and go work. Amazing host. Not everyday youve got Sky Tv in an Airbnb. Amazing stay as a football fan I was able to watch my football games. Clean room clean bathroom clean kitchen. Special cutleries for the guest. Always available to help in anyway. If im in York again id definitely would love to stay over.

Fantastic stay with Anne, she's a great host. Although breakfast isn't provided there are plenty of goodies in the room to make your own tea/coffee/breakfast. Its quiet and clean - the location isn't too far from York Park & Ride either, which makes it a great location for anyone wanting to travel into central York. Well recommended stay.
