Stayed 2 nights in Wanaka Lovely apt well placed for driving into town Wanaka is a great place to stay ,lots to do and good lake walks & good restaurants to suit most pockets There was a restaurant opposite our accommodation-The Stoaker. We didn’t go there although it seemed very popular- if you didn’t want to drive

There are no lights along the road to location. Suggest to check-in when the sun is still out. The location is easily missed, drive slower as nearing it. It is very secluded and dark, perfect for astrophotography and stargazing!!! Everywhere you need to go has an equal distance, 15-20mins, give or take. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay

Only found out that the place was a motel/hotel and not a private rental on the day we were supposed to check in after trying to communicate through the Airbnb app, which I usually use when renting through Airbnb. But the place was really positive a nice place🤗

Carol and Carl were amazing host! Responded quickly to any request and the place felt like home! Will definitely be staying here again when we come back.

Lovely place to stay, the hot pools were so soothing, and they have a sauna!!
