My husband and I had a great time at Viv and Rob's place. The view cannot be beat! The place was just what we needed after many days of driving across the south island. Just a note for many cautious North American drivers that the parking is tight and you will be driving uphill to get here. But once you get here, you'll know why this place is a gem!

Stunning views Just what we needed for a peaceful getaway. Stunning views and a cozy fire. Everything you need, great friendly hosts that leave treats, and also very gracious allowing our Humphrey the Labrador come and stay too, who adored being so close to the beach. This was our 2nd stay at the Min’s. The place was great! It’s clean & all of the appliances are like brand new & easy to use. And the most important thing was the BIDET!! Such a winner! Very recommended place to stay.

I really think the photos do not do this place justice. It's way roomier than it looks in photos and the absolute luxury of the place is understated. The huge TV and incredible soundbar in the lounge is perfect for the dreary, rainy weather we had. The fully stocked kitchen has literally anything you could hope for. The underfloor heating kept the whole place wonderfully cozy. The rain shower with the beautiful view had perfect pressure and heated up immediately. And to top it all off, STUNNING views directly from the bed. You can't find better, book this place ASAP!
