The earth house is a simple but spacious, well-equipped cabin located right on the lake shore. The food was very good, the staff very friendly and accommodating. The place is a little off the hustle and bustle of Dambulla, which immediately invites you to relax. We also felt very comfortable right away from Lassie, our loyal turtle protection dog!

The room was tidy, the bath was convenient and comfortable, and the AC was very cool. The owner has a lovely little sister, and we love her! The owner gave a warm and detailed introduction to each part of the room and was very friendly!

Our stay exceeded our expectations. The place is super clean and looks even nicer than in the photos. Sigiriya is well reached by bus, we were always taken to the bus stop quickly and free of charge on request. The property is in the middle of the jungle in nowhere, you will be taken from the street to the house with a jeep. The service was great and straightforward :) We were cooked great. We recommend taking noise protection for the ears as the house is located on a mountain and the village starts to pray and sing very loudly at 5 o'clock in the morning. From there, we were mostly awake. But you get used to it quickly and see a beautiful sunrise 🌅 All in all, a great and unique place to stay that we highly recommend!
