The White House Lodge was amazing. Janaka and his family made us instantly feel welcome and at home. The apartment is quite spacious and you'll be provided with everything you need. the terrace is very beautiful as well. Everything in Madiha is in walkable distance. Janaka helped us with tuktuks and car rides as well.

Our group had an absolutely perfect stay at Kinkini Bandaragama! The expansive garden area was a huge hit with our group of eight people. We were able to set up for our morning yoga sessions easily and had plenty of room for games in the afternoon. Inside, the living room easily accommodated our entire group. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals for everyone. The quiet and secluded location made it perfect for our meditation retreat; the peaceful surroundings really enhanced our practice. The house is conveniently located just a short ten-minute drive from Pearl Bay Water Park. We also enjoyed a peaceful boat ride on the serene Bolgoda Lake, just a short drive away. There's also a large supermarket just 10 minutes away, making it easy to stock up on supplies. The host, Tamara, was incredibly responsive and helpful, answering all our questions promptly and providing us with great recommendations for local restaurants. We didn’t need the whole house but I wanted the location, simply the best spot between both beaches, with a delightful walk down for morning swim. Nice pool for a cool down at night.

Dilhan and his family welcomed us warmly from the start. We were well looked after and had people to contact around the clock. The apartment is clean and as shown in the pictures. Unfortunately, the apartment is opposite a very noisy street, but after the first few days this didn't bother us anymore and we were able to sleep well at night in the comfortable beds with earplugs. The apartment also has no hot water, but that didn't bother us at all in 30 degree heat. There is a bus stop right outside the front door from which you can get directly to Ahangama and Mirissa for little money. There is no air conditioning, but there is a powerful fan in every room. We highly recommend the accommodation and really felt very comfortable during our two weeks of stay :)

We were blown away by the beauty and serenity of Villa Ovita in Talpe, Sri Lanka. This stunning villa was literally a paradise on earth, surrounded by lush greenery and an incredible array of animals. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were in a nature lover's haven. But what truly made our stay special was the warm hospitality of our host, Damith. He was incredibly welcoming and kind, and it's clear that he's poured his heart and soul into creating this beautiful oasis. His hard work has paid off, and we felt so grateful to have been able to experience it. We spent our last few days in Sri Lanka at Villa Ovita, and it was the perfect way to unwind and relax. Thank you, Damith, for your exceptional hospitality and for sharing your little slice of paradise with us. We can't recommend Villa Ovita highly enough!

The B&B is about 900 meters from the beach, 2 km from the beach Merry Sand Beach and 900 meters from Polhena Beach.The room is clean and tidy, there is a large balcony, and the pool is very comfortable.The host is very enthusiastic and attentive, quick to respond, we find it to book whale watching, its price is lower than that of flying pigs, charter drivers and travel agencies. Listen to the guide, it is better to find a local person to book whale watching, because online booking, usually give money in advance and can not be changed, such as bad weather and can not be changed, but the local people booked the night before I met the host to give money, I can change the time, and the boat out of the sea is similar.The host also introduced good restaurants, sand, and things to do in the surrounding area.We want to experience surfing, the host also actively contacted the coach and quote, we also asked the host to book a boat tour to watch crocodiles, a 2 and a half hour trip, relatively small, a good experience, different from the mangrove forest.

Simply, it was our home for a short period of time. Everything was so perfect that we didn't even want to make a call to get clarification. Genuka is a very friendly person, and from the moment we placed the reservation, he was carefully concerned about what we wanted. And his father, who handed over the key to us, was also a very gentle and professional person who explained everything in the house clearly. The neighborhood is very relaxing, calm, and safe. There's a grocery store very close to the house where you can purchase almost all the things you need to cook (the house has a nice kitchen that includes all the related items to make your own meals). And the Galenigama highway interchange is much closer, so you can access most of the places very quickly. So Genuka's property is highly recommended; it is a nice, clean, safe, and calm place to relax and achieve your requirements closer to the main cities. Good Luck!
