Monthly Rentals in Upper Tākaka

My partner and I had a wonderful and relaxing weekend stay at Bed & Bedford. The house truck is beautifully done with so much thought and care. The deck area is a lovely spot for eating breakfast and enjoying the views across the orchard garden and out to the sea. I was very impressed with how spacious the bathroom felt for such a tiny space! Excellent shower also. Hamish greeted us shortly after we arrived and was friendly and helpful. Our only challenge was the slightly awkward head clearance space for getting into the sleeping loft! Other than this minor issue, we had a fantastic stay here and would highly recommend it.

Great stay in a real Tiny House. Lindsey is an excellent (and discrete) host who takes good care of you and who certainly has excellent tips for the region. Recommended!

2nd time I’ve stayed here and I love it more each time. We rented both apartments this time which was super handy. Location is incredible and they have all the bits you need for a week stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Yvette’s B&B! The house is spacious, fully equipped, and very clean, with a beautiful open view that makes it a peaceful retreat. The swimming pond is a great place to relax, and the location is perfect—close to supermarkets, restaurants, and stunning spots like Abel Tasman National Park, Rabbit Island, and Mapua Village. Ross and Yvette were wonderful hosts, always easy to communicate with and very welcoming. Their attention to detail made everything feel well taken care of, creating a truly enjoyable stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and well-located place to stay!
