Our stay at Susan’s home in Homosassa Springs was wonderful—a perfect getaway to Florida’s Nature Coast! As an explorer, I love immersing myself in nature, but I also appreciate accommodations that balance rustic charm with modern conveniences. This home checked all the right boxes. The space was well-appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, making it ideal for families looking to enjoy quality time together. The amenities provided made it easy to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. Whether you’re out exploring the area or simply unwinding, this home is a fantastic choice. We’d be happy to return!

We really enjoyed our stay in this home! The host was very helpful and responsive. The highlight of our stay was definitely the ability to kayak right out the back door - we paddled out into Mud River Springs and saw manatees absolutely everywhere. It was a magical experience! The yard was peaceful and it was relaxing to sit out with coffee on the deck and watch the wildlife (squirrels, birds, fish). Situated in a small quiet neighborhood (but still close to all the activities we came to the area for), we couldn’t have imagined a more peaceful place to spend our week. We really loved this spot and hope to enjoy it again someday!

Susan’s place was amazing and right around the corner from where we hung out on the river! 10 out of 10 would do it again!

Rachel’s place is the best! Extremely clean and cozy! Too many amenities to list! We loved the kayaks and all the surrounding nature. I’ve stayed in several Airbnb’s and never have I ever been such a horrible guest.. I locked myself out the first night, and Rachel was very responsive and helpful! On the morning of my departure, I left, leaving 2 personal items behind. Rachel was very kind and understanding and offered to send them to my home for me. This is a great little get a way for the family or weekend alone! Thanks Rachel!

We loved our stay at Marni's. The house was immaculately clean and had the best equipped kitchen. Every utensil you could need and plenty of pots and pans. The location was perfect for exploring the rivers and creek system. It was quiet, with friendly neighbours. Would definitely recommend.

My family and I had a great time at Kay's place! We especially loved the variety of kitchenware. The view of the pond was also a favorite of everyone's.

My husband & I decided at last minute to go to Crystal River & Homosassa for a couple of days. We found Dennis & Debra’s place available. Their place was perfect for us and our 2 dogs. Had everything we needed. The photos do not do justice for this cottage. We used the boats and fished right on the property. Perfectly located to visit both Homosassa & Crystal River. We will definitely stay here again when we come back for scallop season!

I had a great time with my family and friends at this Airbnb it was so cozy and cute! Also the kayaks were a plus can’t wait to visit again!

This is a great getaway! My wife and I stayed for a few nights, and the location is great. Very secluded and relaxing but not far from 280 (McDonalds is only ~ 9 min). All in all, 5/5 would recommend!

A.J. And Lindsey’s place was beautiful. The place was just as described in picture’s. We were looking to disconnect and we got just that. We loved the decks, the fire pit was a super plus, the furniture was carefully selected and well placed. Another big one was that I didn’t have to remember my password for Netflix! We were able to take a lovely hike at Westmoreland state park with our dear furry son combining a couple of them got to experience trees and fossil beach. Overall a wonderful experience and would certainly recommend their place. Thanks for hosting us!

Maria and Jeff are wonderful and you couldn't ask for better hosts.  The cottage is secluded and quiet and many times we felt like we were on a private "island" with the water and preserve behind the place.  Hot tub and kayaks were excellent bonuses and we used them plenty.  An overall excellent stay and I would highly recommend the hosts and the cottage.

Perfect location to unplug and unwind. Stylish modern cabin with great amenities. We recommend to kayak, get coffee at the local, lunch at the office (across the street from the coffee shop), sandpiper and merrior tasting room (key lime pie was absolutely heaven) for dinner. Definitely go to the market and get a dozen of fresh local Rappahannock oysters and shuck them to really enjoy the taste of the little oyster island.

We’ll be staying at this property quarterly this year and I’ll review it each time. For now, I’d just like to say…we feel at home. We are so grateful that we will be able to experience the seasons and magic of this beautiful land and home all year long in 2025.

Mark does a wonderful job making you feel at home and helping you enjoy your vacation. Mark will go out of his way to make sure your stay is perfect. The cabin is beautiful, the deck with the hot tub and swings is wonderful. All in all great experience and we will be staying here again!

We were between staying here and Gatlinburg. I didn't want to make the drive all the way to Gatlinburg but wanted something similar in feel and amount of snow. I'm very glad we went to this cabin in Fayetteville and found a new place to explore and love. I could easily see this being something to be enjoyed year round. It was pet friendly as well which make the trip something our whole family could love.

We had an amazing relaxing time, really peaceful, the cabin was cozy, and the lake in front of the property gave us and the dogs a wonderful time, we loved it! We are planning to go back in spring for kayaking.

We were looking for a peaceful escape for Thanksgiving week and Emerald Isle and this cabin were perfect! We enjoyed the screened in porch, the beautiful view and property, and spent lots of time in the kayaks fishing for catfish. Our two kids and dog had a blast running around the property and enjoying the outdoors. We made fires, roasted smores, fried up our fresh catch, and just enjoyed the serene surroundings. Neighbors were in and out of other cabins and everyone was extremely nice and welcoming. It was our first time to Cross Lake and I would highly recommend. Jennifer was very communicative and continuously checked in on us during the week. We have no complaints and would certainly stay again! It was a great week!

Was truly a getaway but close to everything you might need.

Absolutely love. We were only staying one night with our 4 year old. It was too cold to take advantage of the water amenities but the view was still gorgeous. Lynn was very responsive. They have a binder filled with pertinent local info and restaurants, even includes their menus. Would love to come back when it warms up.

My friend and I had a girls' weekend and this place was perfect. We just hunkered down and relaxed -- brought some crafts, made some yummy meals, and enjoyed the hot tub. I especially loved how Amelia has seamlessly blended some rustic, historic elements with modern updates in regard to the cabin itself, as well as the furnishings and housewares. I definitely fell in love with that gas "wood" stove, and and the reproduction electric stove is pretty great! Definitely a little hidden gem.
