I won’t mince words nor leave a flowery, favorable, gushing review. I’ll keep it concise and summarize the experience with one word: Fantastic!

When you’re a tourist visiting somewhere and you primarily are involved in outdoor activities two things you really like to have after your day winds down are a good shower and a comfortable bed. Star has both, and a great in-town location. Coming off a fancy resort first leg of vacation in southern AZ, Star Motel beat the $$$ place on both bed and shower (great water pressure). When your spent after full days of hiking it doesn’t really matter what the room looks like. Place suited this solo traveler very well!

The hotel was at la Quinta inn in Flagstaff. the breakfast was great and for us it was more affordable to book with room picks on Airbnb that through La Quinta

Cyndi is a spectacular host. She greets with a big smile. She showed us to our place. The place was immaculate and convenient to everything in Pine. We saw 12 Elk walk right past our place and down HW 87. Do not pass this beautiful spot up.

Great place to stay! I was traveling alone and have to say I felt very safe and comfortable here. The Manager is very hospitable and went out of her way to make me feel at home. The rooms were clean and check in was easy. They allow pets, but you wouldn't know it if you didn't have one or see one. No stains or odors in the room, just a clean comfortable bed, satellite TV, a stocked kitchenette with full size fridge and your towels and other bath essentials. I would recommend Fort Verde Suites to anyone looking for a great value while staying in the area.
