Monthly Rentals in Santa Maria a Marciola

Lovely place with great views of a Tuscan hilly landscape and pool. However, quite secluded and a little lonely. On site or within walking distance there is no village structure, no cafe or the like. The road to the house is a bit difficult.

We had a wonderful stay at this very cute place. We felt right at home and it has been the perfect place to get some peace and quiet.

Our stay at Mario and Gabriella's apartment was simply perfect. The location is a dream: nestled in the Chianti hills, with a breathtaking view that leaves you speechless. A real corner of paradise, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beauty of Tuscany. The apartment is taken care of in every detail, very clean and equipped with every comfort. Mario and Gabriella are exceptional hosts: they truly make you feel at home, with a kindness and attention that they rarely find. The feeling was to visit close relatives, so they are sweet, thoughtful and polite. Always ready to help with any need, but never intrusive, they made us feel pampered from the first moment. We can only recommend this place to anyone who wants to live an authentic and restorative experience. It’s a nice place surrounded by beautiful landscapes and olive trees. The apartment had everything we needed. The only downside was that we had no heating and it was quite chilly. It was unpleasant with it being too cold. We used the a/c unit to heat up the bedroom but I think generally speaking the insulation of the house is not optimal. Other than that, it’s a very clean place. Well maintained. You definitely need a car otherwise you won’t make it far. It’s about a 20 minute drive to Florence center.
