Apartment vacation rentals in San Juan

We have visited San Juan several times and always try to stay at Arenas’s condo. It is a 2 minute walk to the beach and several delicious local restaurants. It is in a gated community that is very quiet. The place is well-stocked and has beach towels and chairs. Highly recommend!

The apartment was well equipped and functional. The balcony was such a cute addition. We would stay there again in a heartbeat! Highly recommend.

The location was fantastic. So many good restaurants within a 10 minute walk either direction. Easy access to the beach. I would definitely stay again.

We had to get a last minute place and for the cheap because we came down for a funeral. The AC, WIFI, TV worked perfectly. They had everything we needed, towels, sunscreen, tanning oil, hats etc if u forgot anything! This was the perfect place for us, close to the airport and had everything we needed. Also a very a quiet neighborhood! Si están buscando un sitio para dos personas, cerca de todito, es perfecto! I would definitely stay here again.

I definitely recommend staying here when in the San Juan area! The place was cute and well kept. Also very close to viejo/old San Juan. It was in a residential area but it was quiet, we always felt safe, and had a parking spot off the street. Definitely follow the address/coordinates given to you instead of typing in the address in a Maps application. It's spacious enough for two people. One thing to consider is that the place has stairs, which is difficult when getting luggage inside. Regardless, I would stay again! Steven was also super responsive and friendly. Can't recommend this place enough!

We loved staying in a location that is a generational family home and appreciated getting a local, inside perspective on Old San Juan, complete with great recommendations. Last time we were visiting, we walked right past La Taberna Lupolo, but Hernán, finding out we liked craft beer, recommended it for its taplist and great pub food. We went multiple times! The location is central and a bit noisy, as noted in the listing, but the bed is comfortable and three cheers for wonderful cotton sheets. We look forward to returning, but next time we probably won't rent a car for our stay. There's plenty to do in a walkable radius. Thank you, Hernán, for opening up your home!

Ms. Marta is an excellent host. We (me, hubby & 2 cats), just moved here to Puerto Rico from Pennsylvania. We rented this Airbnb because we wanted to look for a place between here and San Juan. Ms. Marta found out that we were looking for a place to buy/rent in the area and offered us an extended stay to continue looking for a place. (Relieved)! The villa we rented was clean, cozy and private. The linen smelled so good. There is a washer/dryer right on the property for your use. The hospitality was amazing. You want for nothing. When we told Ms. Marta we didn't have any internet service, she immediately responded. She spoke to the owner Mr. Juan, and that same day we had internet service. (Loose cable) Chewy is the awesome grounds keeper. If anything is needed, ask him once, and it's done!! He even brought my husband and I fresh coconut water. Gigantic coconut with a hole drilled on top. Yum. Nature, horses, dogs, singing coqui's and a pool! It felt like home. A must stay!!

This place was a gem of a find and Alex and Jorge were wonderful hosts. They let us store luggage before check in, gave us amazing restaurant recommendations, and the place is exactly what it looks like in the photos. The pool is private and a lovely addition, there is laundry on the premises, and snacks, drinks, and wine were included as welcome gifts. They even had extra amenities (slippers, toothbrush, make up wipes, soap) for us to use if needed. We love Puerto Rico and will be back next year and will definitely be looking to stay here again. Thank you for a perfect stay!

Hugo was such a great host! So helpful and responsive when I couldn't find the place. His place is awesome! Just as pictured. He has great suggestions for the area that you receive after booking. Even has hospital info, should you need it! We will definitely come back!

Loved staying at Manuel’s! This was my third time visiting PR and I was so happy to find this gem of a place! Everything was exactly as pictured and described. It was very peaceful and nice to come back to after being out! I am definitely staying here again for our next visit if it is available and would recommend this stay to everyone

Girls weekend with 4 ladies from Denver, Ariel’s place was perfect for us! Great location, communication was excellent. We especially appreciated the blender and provided beach towels. Hot water and shower pressure were great, comfortable beds and air conditioning was more than adequate (we got cold at night and had to turn it up). Grocery store, Amigo, was close by (need a car) and had everything we needed (including local rum). Neighbor Jose was kind and helpful. Area felt safe (walkable at night to nearby restaurants- highly recommend La Fonda). Nice stretch of beach is an easy 5 minute walk away. Will definitely be back!!

Our stay in San Juan was wonderful! The location is fantastic—close to nearly everything the city has to offer. The only minor drawback was the bed; it wasn’t very comfortable, and my boyfriend and I felt like we were sinking into it. Other than that, it was a great place to stay! The host is responsive and even checked in with us to make sure everything was okay.

We really enjoyed our time at Casa Saffra La Placita! The apartments were spacious, clean, well appointed, and right in the heart of it all! We were able to walk to beaches, restaurants, activities shopping and nightlife, and were just a short drive or uber ride other activitivities like El Yunque national forest. Monique and Chip were very communicative and helpful, and their property was the launching pad for a wonderful trip exploring Puerto Rico!

This condo is a true gem ! I originally was going to book the Hilton next-door, but the prices were ridiculous. Started looking around and found this property. The minute I stepped in I was amazed with the cleanliness. The floors are gorgeous, the kitchen very nicely updated, and the views from the unit overlooking the balcony were incredible! If this place is available on my next trip to Puerto Rico, I will be definitely staying there again!

The Escape was literally the BEST Escape I've stayed at. Everything was perfect, to the jacuzzi, the cozy bedroom, the kitchen, dinning area! My partner and I really enjoyed it and will definitely be coming back 🫶🏻. Simple and perfect instructions. Walgreens was our bestfriend, it was right around the corner. The crepes & açaí bowl spots were the best for a late night snack, you can go for a walk and enjoy the weather or just take a less than 5 min drive to it. The food spot aren't even far either, we found some great local spots. I honestly can't wait to visit PR again cause the Escape will definitely be my number one spot to stay at once again ❤️.

Had an amazing seven-day stay at this Puerto Rico apartment! The host was fantastic—super friendly, quick to respond, and made sure everything was just right. The apartment itself is in a perfect central location, making it easy to explore all the best spots. It’s well-equipped with all the amenities you could need for a longer stay. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Nice home! Very clean and the jacuzzi was the highlight of my stay. It worked perfectly fine. I enjoyed my stay. The location is not too far from the airport. Cheap Ubers

The check in process was seemless. Even though it is a studio apt the bedroom is walled off from the living space which worked well for us. Its a great apartment neat, clean with all you need for a stay. It is close to everything, walking distance to restuarants and a short Uber to Old San Juan, or T Mobil. Any time I needed help Fernando was quick to answer. Also the condo has access to a pool which was great for a late day swim between running around. When I go back to San Juan I would definately stay here again

This Airbnb was perfect for my friends and I - the views are better than the pictures! It was really spacious and was nice to have access to the pools. Easy to access, but would recommend renting a car to get around.
