The Shoreline Shed is cosy and warm welcoming cottage. Everything was clean and well equiped. The contact to Janelle was perfect and answers came within seconds ! We stayed a full week at Cedar Peak and really enjoyed our time. The cabin sits hillside on a private lot with incredible views. It was the perfect space to call “home” while we explored the island. The interior is just like the photos. Very thoughtfully designed with lots of conveniences - dimmable lights, lots of electrical outlets, extra pillows, ceiling fans, 3 Smart TVs, folding chairs for the deck, and even a welcome basket of snacks and some basic groceries waiting in the fridge. There was really nothing missing! We visited in late October so many restaurants and shops were closed for the season - just something to be aware of. There are grocery stores nearby, including a small one right across the road. About 3 minutes down the road was a cafe called Cafe Les Suetes - would highly recommend looking them up and stopping in - the best meal we had all vacation! Driving the Cabot Trail, visiting Inverness Beach, and hiking Skyline Trail are all must-do activities nearby.
