Vacation rentals in Inverness

Set in quaint harbor front location, this property was perfect for us. The mowed trails outback as just what we needed to stretch our legs and give the pups a run as well. The house itself was cozy and everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.

The house is modern and lovely with large windows and a deck looking out on the water. The house is large and filled with light, it’s clean and attractive and comfortable. The host John is highly responsive, answers all questions very quickly. It is 1 mile from town which makes it very convenient, and it is also very private and quiet.

Little oasis tucked away from it all. The location is very private and has incredible views and sunsets if you're lucky. Had all the amenities needed to cook some dinner after a day hiking or to put your feet up and relax and enjoy the views. Eric and Von responded very quickly to any questions we had and we're a pleasure to deal with.

Great place, everything you need inside close to all amenities. Would recommend to anyone.

I had a group of four families (with young children) stay at both the eagle and the sun house. The houses were very clean and spacious. We had plenty of room for our group and even had multiple unused bedrooms. The view is spectacular from both houses - especially the sun house. The pictures don’t do it justice. There’s no air conditioning in the houses, but we were kept cool by opening the windows and using the many fans that were provided in the rooms. It was fine during our stay, but I could imagine the upstairs rooms may get stuffy if you happen to visit during a particularly warm period. There’s a walk down the hill to the beach on the lake, and the beach is rocky so don’t expect to bring young kids swimming. Even if you’re feeling adventurous you’ll need water shoes to get around. Overall a great experience and a good way for a large group to visit Cape Breton

We enjoyed our 4 night stay. Internet was great. Heating and lighting worked well. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. We were able to snowmobile from the cabin to the groomed trails. Access trails included a short run down the shoulder on East Intervale Road. Normal access to the trails through #805 was not possible due to trail closure caused by downed trees. For snowmobilers there is limited truck trailer parking at the cabins (approx. 60 feet - single row). Owners were very helpful to see our stay was enjoyable.
