Beach house vacation rentals in Phillip Island

The Hideaway by The Sea is a fantastic spot super close to the beach, private, and plenty of space for a family of 4. We had the best long weekend, walking to the beach through the dunes, short drives to Cowes and enjoying the quiet surroundings from our own large furnished balcony. The place is easy to find, and there is plenty of car parking for two cars, although the driveway is very narrow. If we come back to Cowes, Debbie's place is on the top list to book. We hope to be back!

Will’s airbnb is exactly what we needed to just relax! The secluded beach just a very quick 2 minute walk and super relaxing hearing the waves and birds from the house! The fireplace was a favourite also!

The place is quiet and nice, looks exactly like pictures. It is close to the beach, easy to go everywhere. Will want to come back!

The house with the very special decoration is unique and very comfortable to stay for a couple of days, especially due to the very comfortable bed in the main bedroom . To relax in the beautiful garden with an amazing bird life the house is perfect. To make the chill out complete, the two hammocks you can put up on the deck were fantastic! And you can go for a relaxed swim on the very close swimming beach. For people who love surfing the most amazing surf beach in the first surf nature reserve is just a three minute drive away. The waves were just spectacular when we were there. If you want to eat out, it’s just a 20 minute walk on two minute drive to the restaurant in the entrance of the urbanization, It’s really recommendable. We had just had 3 perfect days!

If you have someone who is a wheelchair user or just needs help getting up stairs ect then this place is for you! My mum is fighting cancer so she uses an oxygen tank and a wheelchair for assistance, the stair chair was amazing to get her upstairs, it saved her so much energy and made the stay so worth it ❤️ The photos on the listing of the views do not do it justice, we spent most of our time upstairs and on the balcony looking out to the ocean, it was truly the stay of a lifetime. The kitchen and the house in general is so well equipped, everything you could possibly need is there and we found that so useful especially for a big family like ours. The beach access out the back gate is just awesome, we saw so much wildlife including penguins, shearwaters that nest around the area and so many wallabies! Thankyou Deb and Mary, what a wonderful space you have down in Ventnor. We won’t hesitate to book this again!!!

We had a great family beach getaway here with a 6 month and 3.5 year old. The place is small but functional and seems to have been recently done up. Location right by the beach is excellent. We had varied weather and temperatures and the place was still comfortable. Will definitely return! Thanks.

Had a very peaceful and relaxing stay at this amazing house. It was well equipped with everything we needed and it was very clean. I recently stayed at this amazing accommodation in San Remo, and I can't recommend it enough! The home was clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the stunning beach and local shops. We especially loved the peaceful atmosphere and the breathtaking views from our balcony. Julianne and Brian's place is stunning. Well appointed and great for a family or group of friends with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Huge open space lounge, dining and the biggest kitchen made it perfect for our large family group to hang out for a few days. The pool was a bonus. Flinders is also a stunning location to base yourself. Cannot recommend this property highly enough. Thank you again to Julianne and Brian for being wonderful hosts.

The accommodation was a perfect size. Main bedroom is great, large with its own bathroom and enclosed outside area. Shared bedrooms maybe a bit small but they're just for sleeping anyway. Plenty of living space, an extra area for kids. Lots of toys and games and a billiard table. The swim spa wasn't heating for us but Chris the host did warn us due to unforeseen circumstances and offered a refund if we wished to cancel. Very close to a beautiful enclosed beach, not very busy and good for swimming. Far enough away from 5he bustle of Cowes centre but close enough to walk or drive in for supplies. Chris was very prompt in replying. Overall, a very good experience and I recommend this accommodation for groups or families. Thank you Chris for offering your place.

The house was excellent, with space and bedrooms for the two couples and three singles staying over the week. Thank you for the dog friendly environment. With the dog park behind, it was relaxing and convenient for us all. The pool and games room were well used. We all liked the window opening onto the outdoor area. Thanks, Carmel Ritchie

We stayed at Joanne’s place previously and loved our stay so much we couldn’t wait to come back, so we did! Our stay the second time around was just as blissful. Joanne’s home is beautiful, roomy, clean and with all the amenities you could need to be comfortable and enjoy your holiday. Joanne is always communicative and responsive. The location really is super special and the perfect spot for adventures and is amongst nature, but also only a short drive to dining and shops. Our kids have loved each stay and we’re looking forward to coming back hopefully in the near future. Thanks again Joanne.

Our little family had a wonderful time staying at Steve and Renee’s beach house. The house is located close to the beach so much so that we walked down each other day. The kids loved the large outdoor space in particular the swing set. We would highly recommend staying!

We loved our stay at this place. It was spacious and comfortable. We were walking distance to the beach and we had everything we needed for our stay. Vanessa was flexible and accommodating. Check in was easy. The late check out time was amazing. It was just perfect for a weekend trip with the family. We will definitely be back

We had an fantastic stay at Helen's place. It was spotless and home vibe setup to just give a hassle free stay. It has huge backyard and covered patio for family gathering. The bonfire area was a plus and added to our group's experience. Home was beautifully decorated, and the location was perfect for exploring Philip island attractions. Not to mention, Helen was a fantastic host and highly considerate.. highly recommend.

Darren's place was exactly like the pictures, it was such a great place in a great location, it was clean and he provided loads of towels and bedding and I couldn't recommend Darren's place enough!

Lovely place in a great quiet location near the beach. The house feels more like a home with loads of extras which were much appreciated. Especially kitchen things, coffee beans, great coffee machine and loads of warm touches. We really enjoyed staying here.

Really lovely little place, spacious and comfortable for the modest size. Short walk to Red Rock beach with many wallabies in the reserve. Kim was an excellent host and gave us great recommendations for food and attractions for our stay. Would definitely come back.

This house was an absolute gem! From the moment we stepped inside, we were struck by how beautiful and well-presented everything was. The fact that every single room boasts a view is truly special, and the thoughtful inclusion of activities for all ages meant there was never a dull moment. The kitchen was a delight, making meal preparation a breeze. The kids were thrilled with the bunk beds, which was a fantastic bonus. For the adults, the snooker/pool table and table tennis board provided the perfect way to unwind. Understanding that some coastal sedimentation on the windows is a natural occurrence in such a stunning location allowed us to fully embrace the coastal experience. The short stroll to the beach was a highlight, and the early morning sunrises and views were simply breathtaking We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay and will absolutely be booking again in the future. We couldn't have asked for a better place!
