Beach house vacation rentals in Phillip Island

The Hideaway by The Sea is a fantastic spot super close to the beach, private, and plenty of space for a family of 4. We had the best long weekend, walking to the beach through the dunes, short drives to Cowes and enjoying the quiet surroundings from our own large furnished balcony. The place is easy to find, and there is plenty of car parking for two cars, although the driveway is very narrow. If we come back to Cowes, Debbie's place is on the top list to book. We hope to be back!

Good value older style house, close to Woolamai Safety Beach. Spacious renovated kitchen. Nice deck for meals, with a sizeable back yard. The second bathroom came in handy. We had an enjoyable few days at Phillip Island with a glorious run of summery weather.

The house with the very special decoration is unique and very comfortable to stay for a couple of days, especially due to the very comfortable bed in the main bedroom . To relax in the beautiful garden with an amazing bird life the house is perfect. To make the chill out complete, the two hammocks you can put up on the deck were fantastic! And you can go for a relaxed swim on the very close swimming beach. For people who love surfing the most amazing surf beach in the first surf nature reserve is just a three minute drive away. The waves were just spectacular when we were there. If you want to eat out, it’s just a 20 minute walk on two minute drive to the restaurant in the entrance of the urbanization, It’s really recommendable. We had just had 3 perfect days!

Darren's place was exactly like the pictures, it was such a great place in a great location, it was clean and he provided loads of towels and bedding and I couldn't recommend Darren's place enough!

If you have someone who is a wheelchair user or just needs help getting up stairs ect then this place is for you! My mum is fighting cancer so she uses an oxygen tank and a wheelchair for assistance, the stair chair was amazing to get her upstairs, it saved her so much energy and made the stay so worth it ❤️ The photos on the listing of the views do not do it justice, we spent most of our time upstairs and on the balcony looking out to the ocean, it was truly the stay of a lifetime. The kitchen and the house in general is so well equipped, everything you could possibly need is there and we found that so useful especially for a big family like ours. The beach access out the back gate is just awesome, we saw so much wildlife including penguins, shearwaters that nest around the area and so many wallabies! Thankyou Deb and Mary, what a wonderful space you have down in Ventnor. We won’t hesitate to book this again!!!

Enjoyed Simon’s place , beautiful quiet location. Loved sitting on the deck watching the swamp wallabies & rabbits come out at dusk to feed . 2 minute walk to the beach & a very short drive tomorrow Cowes to get supplies.

We absolutely loved our time at Mauro, only downside was that the weekend had to come to an end. The place was beautiful and the indoor pool was a massive hit with the kids. Not hearing once, can you put sunscreen on was music to the ears. Adults loved the sauna and afl and nba viewing party in the theatre room was so much fun. We had three families there and the blend of areas to be together and also privacy/quiet time for young kids was great. Would definitely love to come back at some point in time.

I recently stayed at this amazing accommodation in San Remo, and I can't recommend it enough! The home was clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the stunning beach and local shops. We especially loved the peaceful atmosphere and the breathtaking views from our balcony. The house was excellent, with space and bedrooms for the two couples and three singles staying over the week. Thank you for the dog friendly environment. This house was incredible, words can’t describe how lovely it was. The views were amazing. It was well stocked with absolutely everything you need. We loved that it was only a 10 min walk to the Pub, cafes and beach and that our furry friend could holiday with us too. Would absolutely recommend this accommodation and would love to return.

What a nice surprise it was to initially explore the house. I thought it was going to be a cute cozy home however it was surprisingly spacious. We all felt comfortable as soon as we walked in and went straight into holiday mode. Watching the sunrise was only a short 10 minute walk and we captured the most beautiful sunrise glistening over the water and cliffs. The spa was a highlight, and everyone said the beds were comfortable.

Thanks to Steve and Renee, great place to stay. Very close to the beach and a nice walk to Cowes along the beach (about 2k). Place was clean and tidy with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The only possible addition would be a couple of loungers for the decking area but that is only a suggestion as I am lazy!

We loved our stay at this place. It was spacious and comfortable. We were walking distance to the beach and we had everything we needed for our stay. Vanessa was flexible and accommodating. Check in was easy. The late check out time was amazing. It was just perfect for a weekend trip with the family. We will definitely be back

Had a great stay at Helen’s place! The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was great, and Helen was a wonderful host—responsive and helpful. A very quiet and safe location just 3 minutes walk to the sea front shops of San Remo. The house’s great facilities and living zones will ensure you have a wonderful vacation.

We had a wonderful stay here. This home was a great size for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children) and 2 grandparents. The kids room is equipped with some toys, books, games and is a big size so they had their own space to play. The outdoor area was great! The addition of a TV meant we spent the vast majority of our time outside enjoying the entertainment and watching the kids run around. The whole house block being fully fence also adds safety to the kids playing, and you don’t have to worry about them running out to the road. The kitchen was well equipped, the bathrooms new and everything works well. Easy walking distance to the beach, and has an outdoor shower in the backyard with warm water!
