Treehouse vacation rentals in Northern California

Amazing stay! One thing I will note was it was a bit confusing to find the house, especially at night. Check in the house when the sun is out!

Beautiful cabin, great location, well appointed, clean. Cozy and warm, this place was perfect for our little family getaway to play in the snow. The extra touches like plenty of board games, books, little soaps, quilts, and firewood elevate the experience. Host was very responsive and friendly. We didn't have any issues during our stay and had a perfect weekend. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sweet Dreams! The location was fantastic, with easy access to the redwood preserves, the ocean, and charming wineries. The beds were super comfy, and the hot tub was inviting and spotless—a wonderful way to unwind after a day of exploring. We loved grilling dinner each evening. Our host was incredibly attentive and made sure we had all the information we needed during our visit.

This place looks exactly like the pictures. Host called to check in on us on day of arrival and informed us that we could call of we needed anything. Kitchen had all basic cooking utensils. Instructions for fireplace, tvs, heat etc were all very clear. Would stay hear again.

This river cottage was amazing! Quintessential Sonoma county living. We had a great time relaxing by the river and enjoying all healdsburg has to offer. The house was well appointed, all of the furnishings were very comfortable. WiFi was great for working remote. We wished the windows upstairs had real screens, but the curtains helped let us get some air in at night. Hope to visit again soon!

Everything was great! Place has unique climate and it is very cozy. Sara and Tony was responding very quickly and helped us with everything. Place looks so much better than in the pictures :) We really recommend this house!

This place is magical. There’s a creek in the backyard and surrounded by trees. You feel so far away from everything, but there’s a grocery not too far. The coffee shop right down the street is also very good. 10/10 would come back

I never actually got to meet Dan! We passed on the road to the place the first day, but we never crossed paths after. His instructions were spot on, but this early in the year I am very glad I took my SUV. I am not sure my Hyundai Ioniq would have made it. I am not sure if it was user error, but we never got any of the water working either or the electricity in the dining area. It was ok for us because we were not there a lot because we came down from Portland to go hiking in the redwoods. I also think because he was not there and I brought my dog who is a 90 lb german shepherd husky mix that his border collies did not like him and growled and snapped at him, but Osiris just stood there and was a sweet boy until we made it to the treehouse. Oh my goodness they had two puppies that were just the cutest and I wanted to bring home with me! I also didn't like the fact we couldn't park by the treehouse, but there must have been a reason for it. I'm not sure.

This is a lovely place with such historic charm. Truly a gem in Modesto and really cool design that needs to be kept up. There are somethings that need to be attended to, and I’m confident they will make changes noted to them. I rented it the night before for the next day so I know that played a role and at the same time, if it’s available then it should be ready. We didn’t get to utilize all the things shared as cool features as they weren’t working. Overall, I would stay again on the premise that certain things are fixed as it’s a beautiful home near my family.

Eoin was a lovely host! We had a fantastic time and Eoin was very flexible! Would come back again for the peace and serenity!

Beautiful cabin location for my family trip during the holidays. It was nestled among a creek and woods and it was very peaceful and cozy. Would love to come back in the summer and go kayaking. It was unfortunately raining hard during our stay but we had much to do inside with games, a fireplace and going into downtown to visit the numerous cute shops. Overall loved our stay!

We had the most wonderful time! This place really took our vacation to the next level! Super magical and really was the best air b&b! Privet and the amenities all worked! Loved our stay and loved our vacation!

We loved staying here, and it’s somewhere we would love to come back to! It was all around a great experience; plenty of big windows in the cabin to look at the beautiful surroundings, a nice and usable kitchen, it was very cozy and they’ve made the space beautiful as well. Really loved the collection of furniture, art / trinkets, and great selection of books too. And Elizabeth was very communicative and accommodating!

This was easily one of my favorite Airbnb's my wife and I have ever stayed at. Felt like we were in a different world. Deer and turkeys greeted us in the morning, the kitchen was fully stocked, bed was insanely comfortable, and the outdoor bath was relaxing! The current photos don't do this place justice, we will definitely be back!

Our nights in the trees were a check on our bucket list. The sounds, views, and peace were all we could hope for. Jodie was attentive and her care was appreciated. Memories made in the trees will be cherished.

Kids loved staying at the treehouse. It was a very unique experience, and it was very well priced. Also included in our stay was access to a huge yard with fire pits, games, and hammocks. The stay was very relaxing and fun and we would recommend a stay here to anyone wanting adventure. Rusty was a great and friendly host and made sure we were well accommodated.

The Shiitake treehouse provided a lovely 3-day home for our family on our roadtrip to the Redwoods from Seattle. We enjoyed waking each morning to the beautiful surrounding forest and filtered light. The cozy loft had comfy beds and wonderful little windows to peer out of. The shared bathrooms and showers were clean and easy to access. We enjoyed the delightful property, frisbee golf course, and our evening dips in the pool. This was well-located for exploring nearby hiking trails and our trip to the Oregon Caves National Monument.

We loved our stay in this tiny tree house! After wandering in the redwood groves, and hiking the lost coast, we slept like babies in the comfy bed, and enjoyed the amazing shower, complete with robes, slippers, and the fluffiest towels. A bonus was Mittens the treehouse kitty, and Cowgirl the dog. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!💗

Up and up a remote road and thru the redwoods we arrived at a cozy, stunning hideaway. Wow! So clean and well kept our stay was so fun. Nothing like this anywhere. We even saw some wild turkeys !! A great view and a warm fire just made it magical. Oh and outdoor shower might be the best part! Thank You we will come again.

Robin and Mark have a gorgeous property! The treehouse is very well constructed, and even with a little bit of wind and rain, I never felt it sway (for those who are worried). It is well appointed glamping, and the views are just spectacular! They are both incredibly nice and accommodating hosts. Can’t wait to stay again in the future!

We had an amazing time at Nate's! The cabin was exactly how he had described it. It was everything we had hoped for and more. The beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchen was stocked and there was a big screen perfect to watch movies on! Nate lent us some sleds which were a big hit with our daughters! Throughout our stay, Nate was a very caring and responsive host. If you are looking for a place where you can make unforgettable memories, then, the cozy cabin is perfect for you! Our stay at Karen & Will’s cabin was utter perfection. From finding the listing itself, booking our time, pre check-in, and throughout our stay; there was an open line of communication, and all information provided was comprehensive and accurate. The pictures matched the space exactly, the directions to the cabin were easy to follow, and all the amenities were better than expected. The cabin was not just clean, but clean with attention to detail. All that is great, but most of all the cabin is BEAUTIFUL. It’s in an area that’s secluded enough to really feel like you’re getting away, but close enough to town to where it doesn’t feel like you’re making a trek to get out and about. 10/10
