Super convenient. Having a washer and dryer was really helpful. The place was well stocked with laundry detergent, kitchen essentials, salt and pepper, tea and coffee. There was plenty of room for the family. Very walkable to shops and restaurants and you can't get closer to the gondola and ski school.

We’d come back again in a heartbeat. It was reasonably priced, the cabin had everything we needed and was perfect for a family of four. The pool was a wonderful addition for the kids, weather was amazing and Ryan was an excellent host. - Very friendly and welcoming, helpful, and laid back about us making ourselves feel at home & late check out etc. The lake was breathtakingly beautiful. We went kayaking one afternoon and had the lake to ourselves. California’s best kept secret for sure!

Wonderful stay! We loved that we could walk to really good restaurants and shops - and even the local museum! And I loved the history of the location!

This was my second time staying here and it won’t be my last! Very clean, easy to find, beautiful surroundings, and Chelsea is a prompt communicator.

Been booking this place for a couple of weeks now for some work in Sunnyvale and it’s great for staying for up to a week because of it’s kitchen. Space is also huge!

This place was absolutely perfect for my family of 4. It had everything I needed to cook meals. And plenty of space for everyone to spread out. We spent our Christmas there and brought our own little tree to add some decor. Kids had fun playing outside in the snow and come inside to get warm by the fire. It was a great price for the space and would highly recommend. And Host was amazing about keeping in touch and answering and silly questions I had. Very friendly and easy to work with.

Great place to stay if you plan to hit the slopes !

Kalven is an excellent host. We certainly feel very confident now in using his rentals in the future. This is our favorite vacation option when we visit "Napa Wine Country" and we intend on returning as soon as possible. Everything about this rental is high end and it offers such a restful break. Also, to our surprise, at the welcome desk we were greeted by Collin who is very knowledgeable about the area and respectful of our decision not to take the "timeshare presentation" at this time. I am so glad we discovered this property -- a big thank you to Kalven.

This place is absolutely beautiful! we were able to snag this place on a weekend a event wasn't being held. We stayed in the Pinot cabin and it was exactly like the pictures. Absolutely beautiful! The grounds on this property is quiet and peaceful. There was only one other cabin rented out the weekend we were there which we basically had the entire property to ourselves. Only slight issue for us (if you want to call it that) was that we arrived in the peak of 100 degree weather so it was like a oven in the cabin and it took hours to cool down and there is no fan in the cabin. once night hit it got better (we also went and bought a fan to help stay cooo). Other than that I absolutely loved this place and would stay here again!

This is my preferred place to stay when visiting Chico. You cannot beat the location, price, and amenities offered. Do not hesitate to book.

Wonderful place for family vacation !! The unit is very conveniently located next to the main club house where all of the amenities are, especially the hot tub and pools. And also very closed to the tram lift to go down to the ski rental place at stonelodge. Would rent here again next time we're back in lake tahoe for skiing !!

We are so happy we were able to book this place, last minute. Our family stayed here with another family and it was perfect for us! Everything was clean and all the spaces were intentionally designed. We loved all the amenities and the location was great with easy access to restaurants and shops. The living room windows and balcony had a lively view of restaurant entertainment and the ice skating rink. We will definitely be returning!

The lodge surroundings were beautiful. We got there right before sunset and had an epic view of the lake and mountains. I definitely recommend

Casa Ponderosa was a delightful surprise. Nile, the host, gave great directions (, although I missed the turnoff the first time. You travel a short distance down a dirt road, and we find Nile and his wife waiting to greet us there. They directed us down to their "Hobbit Hole" ("Hobbit Holes" are always bigger on the inside than on the outside). You come into a large living room that easily holds four people. It is equipped with several comfortable recliners and sofas. The table inside the entrance is filled with treats and snacks. From there you go into a mini-kitchen (there is no oven or stove), equipped with fridge, microwave, coffee makers, and more goodies. The bedroom was also huge, and we slept in one of the most comfortable beds (they even had chocolates and slippers laid out for us). But wait, there's more - a large bathroom with a great mirror and a large shower. We're already looking forward to the next time we can stay at Casa Ponderosa!

Great place to stay! Fantastic area for getting around. Wonderful restaurants, grocery store, coffee, and hardware store right across the block. Near the metro, and near so many things. Great place for large groups. Reccommend!

The room was the perfect overnight for us on a long road trip. Very clean, well decorated, had everything we needed. It's an easy walk to all the restaurants and shops too. Thanks!!

even better than the air bnb listing! jane’s spot is magical, perfect for our 12 person getaway. the land is so special, each little structure and pathway so unique and beautiful. we loved cooking in the kitchen, walking down to the river, and enjoying the nearby hot springs. we especially loved the dance floor jane set up for us in the barn!! an incredible feature.

Quiet & peaceful property with hosts who really seem to want their guests to enjoy the visit. Clean accommodations with side snacks & those little extra amenities that people forget last minute. Just bring your toothbrush 😄

Great value, cozy little place. Loved the electric fireplace. Could hear the neighborhood dog bark at times but didn't during the night.
