Lake house vacation rentals in Minneapolis

Great location with lots of space for several families!

This was our second stay and just like last time, it was perfect for our family. Beds for our kids downstairs, a room for us upstairs and a gorgeous view of the lake frozen over. Lovely to sit by the fire and enjoy!

Judy was a fantastic host. Check in was a breeze, as she left a book with house rules and instructions around the house for anything you may already have a question about. The home is beautiful with enough beds to accommodate our large group of 9. Between being right on the lake, a completely stocked game room, and just a few minutes away from mystic lake casino and course, we never ran out of something to do. Great home, host, and location. Will book there again.

The property met our needs perfectly. The house was clean and easily accessible when we arrived. Fern and Daniel were extremely helpful and easy to work with. I highly recommended this property and would stay here again!

Wow! Our family had an absolute blast at Sunny and Anil’s home - they’re home is beautiful, welcoming and our entire family was very comfortable both inside the house as well as on the beachfront during our stay. We also rented a boat and they were very helpful in suggestions for boating and recreation activities. Great hosts, we will be back!

Very comfortable and clean with a beautiful view of Lake Como. Spacious and plenty of room for a larger group. Very well equipped kitchen and nice bedding and towels. Dao responded quickly when We had issues with thermostat.

Vicki’s place was absolutely lovely. We stayed for a family wedding and could not have asked for a nicer space of more helpful host. We were 3 couples and had all we needed and more. Vicki accommodated us in several ways, from early check in to quick response to a few questions we had. We’d stay again!

The apartment was bright and spacious. The location was great and we enjoyed walking around the lake and to restaurants.

I enjoyed every minute here! I’m from Minneapolis but was looking for a place to relax and easy access to nature. It’s the perfect staycation with miles of trails literally right outside front door. Gorgeous views of Cedar Lake from inside and an incredible kitchen to cook. Everything was quality, functional, clean and so beautiful. Hosts are very thoughtful and available next door, but it’s also private. Best airbnb I’ve ever stayed in!

This home has plenty of space, lots of amenities, and is in a great neighborhood with local parks. It’s easy to get to. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We had a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay. It’s a good space for a larger group. While it’s in Excelsior, a very nice lake town, it’s not very walkable as it is sitting on a busy highway with no sidewalks.

Our stay was great, everything was super cozy and clean. I had a lot of work to prep for an event and a small space like this was very convenient which got a lot of my work done quicker! Also very nice & informative hosts!

Not sure what to say that hasn't already been said. The place was fantastic. I grew up in the 70's and 80's and this was a blast fron the past on steroids. Allison the host was on point from beginning until the end and always helpful. The cabin overlooking the lake with a walk down trial to the fire pit was straight out of my childhood memories. Everything was just top notch. Definitely would come back. 5 star rating across the board.

My stay at this Lake Harriet home was awesome. The space is big, has really great decorations and has a cool style while maintaining comfort. My favorite parts are the original wood details inside the house And the bedrooms with nice designs and super comfortable beds. I woke up early to explore the area and felt quite safe taking a short walk to lake Harriet and utilizing the easy walking paths around this quiet neighborhood. I was able to spot a couple nice coffee shops and grab some delicious breakfast at a nearby bakery. I also saw a few parks that I definitely will come back to explore on another trip. Oh and the host, Ben, was super responsive, thoughtful, and proactive to give me all the good tips and secret spots of the locals. He was quick to respond to my questions about the house and the neighborhood. The house was spotless, peaceful, and had a lot of amenities that were above and beyond the average rental. I will definitely be returning and bringing friends!

Lovely stay with the family at the Boho Basement. Extremely clean and welcoming place to stay. Fantastic location and easily walkable to the lake and local establishments. Would stay here again.

Jim’s house was great for our stay. We had 6 people and everyone had their own space. The house is a little quirky with how it is laid out. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare food and cook meals. Jim was super helpful with our arrival time because we had a long drive and we were not sure when we would arrive due to traffic. I recommend this AirBnb.

We had such a great time in this space. It was spotless and had all we could ask for. Super comfortable bed and cute kitchen. Close to so many things and a perfect spot for us to unwind after activities. We would highly recommend this to anyone and everyone! Hosts were super helpful and responsive. Thank you!

The area is stunning, right on the Mississippi River , we gazed at the eagles flying around all day. The back yard and view are truly priceless. There is plenty of space for everyone to play around outside. Nice area to walk around the neighborhood and within driving distance you have anything a big city can offer. Inside the home , we were comfortable and had all the essentials we needed to spend our time there. Jeff and Kelly are wonderful, helpful and responsive.

Definitely a great place to stay, home away from home. The kids loved and enjoyed every bit of it. Anytime I ever visit Minnesota I’ll definitely pick this spot

I have stayed at a few air bnb’s and this one was my favorite by far. It was well worth the price, I have paid double the price in the past for places that were most definitely not as nice as this. The outdoor area is beautiful, there is plenty of space, the artwork is beautiful as well as the furniture accents. The couch is actually comfortable for lounging and binge watching Netflix. Everything i would need to be able to cook was available to me, and coffee was provided. There was a small fridge and microwave in every room, towels and washcloths in every room, two dedicated work spaces, extension cords in the bedrooms for phone chargers etc as well as TV’s in every room. The entire house was beautiful, and especially the living room and downstairs bedroom/ bathroom. Every single thing I could have thought of and even things I wouldn’t have thought I needed were available. Ms. Edna was a very friendly and clear communicator. This is top tier and my first pick. Book it!

The Rose cottage is an comfortable historic cottage that the Artis and spouse have lovingly restored. I enjoyed having interesting things to look at everywhere. (NOT a beige and grey place like so many). Artis came immediately when we had an issue. Ability Note: stairs are steep and tub is self standing and requires balance to get in and out.
