Vacation rentals in Mankato

Our group of 6 adults absolutely loved staying here over Christmas week while visiting family in the area. The house is beautiful, comfortable, cozy, and quiet. The area is very safe and you can't beat a lake view, even in winter. We found just about everything we needed in the kitchen and appreciated there was lots of space to cook and store food. There were quite a few things to clean before heading out, but we spread it out over the night before we left and morning of, no big deal since we had lots of helpers. We played a couple rounds of cornhole in the garage, which was so fun! We would definitely stay here again!!

The place was beautiful and had everything we could possibly ask for. The hosts were responsive and welcoming. We have one caveat- there was no driveway access to the home and you have to walk through grass up a small incline. This was inconvenient for wedding attire and elderly. The hosts made accommodations but it was still somewhat inconvenient. We would highly recommend this home for a family getaway - it has everything and is a beautiful location.

We had a great stay from start to finish. Everything was clean and the instructions were perfect on how to get in and out. It was very cozy and I have never slept that good in my life. It is highly recommended.

We had another wonderful stay!! The sunsets to the wonderful beds, bedding, to the cozy layout of the home and the amenities and special touches! Sunset Cove is such a beautiful retreat away from home. Thanks again, Natalka!!

The Tiny was fun to stay in. It was obvious as soon as we opened the door - bright, organized, darling. It has everything you need and clear instructions for stove top and heater. Being right next to the lake, the views were lovely. Ducks paddled by in the morning. I enjoyed checking out the cozy nest reading/meditation space opposite the sleeping area. It reminded me of my childhood, hanging out in a fort my sister and I had growing up. It was an enjoyable experience staying in a tiny house. The attention to detail and the emphasis on natural materials and repurposing (using vintage table leaves for shelves) was inspiring. Kim is a very welcoming and responsive host.

The rating system doesn’t go high enough to express how perfect this home away from home was for my family and I! Everything (and more) that we needed to make us feel at home was thought of and available as well as the space being better than I could have imagined for our stay!!! Wonderful, spacious, comfortable place to stay at!!

Great communication with the host! Overall the house was very nice and we would stay there again. The beds were comfortable and so was the furniture in the living room. My only negative comments are very small, if you like firm pillows you may want to bring your own. We had to double up pillows which wasn’t a problem because there were plenty. And there isn’t a washers or dryer available which could be a concern for a longer stay.
