Loft vacation rentals in Lucca

Our family enjoyed a wonderful week at Luca's place in Lido di Camaiore. The apartment is spacious and comfortable - 4 bedrooms each with it's own bathroom, large well-appointed kitchen and living/dining area, plus a second floor with workout area, private laundry room and large sunroom/deck overlooking the ocean. The building is directly across the street from the beach promenade lined with restaurants and beach clubs. Every day we'd walk across the street, rent a cabana/tent at one of the beach clubs and spend the day at the beach, before going back to change to walk to one of the many restaurants for dinner and gelato. Things I found especially great: - the air conditioning in the apartment is excellent! July in Italy is HOT and the apartment A/C worked wonderfully to keep the apartment cool after a long day at the beach. - Luca is incredibly responsive, both before and during our trip. He always responded quickly and with whatever info we needed. We will definitely be back!

We loved Patrizio’s cottage. It is very cosy and has been renovated very well. It was the perfect place for us (2 people, 2 dogs). The kitchen was our favourite spot and the interior in the bedroom is very cool. The garden is great and the hot tub is a nice addition. The surrounding area is very nice and peaceful. The vineyards are beautiful. One evening we took a stroll up the hill to the nearby vineyard which was nice. Patrizio is super friendly and very responsive and we kept in touch throughout our stay, with him providing great recommendations. He also came to say hello and show us around the cottage during check-in. It’s a good base for day trips - we did Pisa, Lucca and San Gimignano - all of which were under an hours drive. He also recommended visiting his golf club for a small fee - they had a nice pool with beautiful views that we used one morning. We would highly recommend Patrizio and his place!

This is an absolutely magical apartment--everything about it, down to the key! It was exactly what I had hoped it would be from the photos and very much more. It is extremely safe, being inside a veritable fortress of a building with enormous, imposing doors fit for a castle. The loft is so charming and decorated so tastefully--we were both in awe of it when we entered. We were prepared for the toilet-situation from reading the other reviews (there is no room for you to sit straight ahead, so you have to sit to the side). That didn't bother us. There is a washer, but we couldn't find detergent, so you should bring your own. Everything else was provided. I would offer only one note of caution for those looking to stay there. This was no issue for us, but the stairs leading up to the loft would be very difficult to use for anyone with mobility issues. We found them kind of hard to get used to (don't wear socks!). It was fine in the end, though, and every bit worth it!

This is a great place to stay! Nice room for a couple. Beautiful view of the ocean from the windows! Building felt secure and safe. We also had a place to park a rental car. Stefano was informative when asked questions.

The week I spent with my wife and our son flew in. It feels like you're staying in your own home, there's a lot of space to fix your stuff, and the silence that reigns during the night has allowed us to rest without any problems. It's not right in front of the sea, with a 4-year-old it takes almost 15 minutes, but you are almost always in the shade because there is a forest, partly pine forest, which you have to cross to get to the beach. It was a nice vacation, the place was more than suitable for our needs and fully met my initial expectations. Great communication with Paolo, a discreet and extremely kind and helpful person. Attached to the accommodation are butcher, bakery and a sandwich shop. Esselunga supermarket is 5 minutes away on foot. Parking, although for a fee (daily/weekly/monthly subscription), is easily available, even in high season. I definitely recommend this apartment for a beach holiday in Viareggio.

Sergio and his neighbor Fabiano are very sweet and accommodating hosts! Sergio’s beautiful loft in Isolotto is cozy and perfectly located outside of the bustle of central Florence. Parklike and walkable Isolotto is a safe and cozy setting and has a life of its own into which I enjoyed integrating for 3 weeks, amongst the families, neighborhood cats, sweet cafes and markets. Central Florence is easy to access by tram (10 minutes from loft), foot (about a mile), several bus lines, or taxi. I chose to walk two blocks to the Arno River and grabbed a bike share through the park and took a very bikeable route all the way to the Ponte Vecchio. Upon returning from a busy day of museums, shopping, wine tours, and cooking classes, I enjoyed my afternoon spritz at the cafe at the end of the block. My remote work days and sleep were uninterrupted and peaceful. I will remember this Airbnb stay above all others!

Genka's place is really a magical place where we felt very comfortable right away. This tranquility and beauty of nature is truly breathtaking. The loft offers plenty of space to relax and there is really everything necessary. A highlight is certainly the pool and the free-roaming animals on the premises. The quaint Bottega right outside the door is definitely worth a visit - we will definitely be back!

This place is a little heaven. I loved the atmosphere, the nature and the kindness of Christina and Michele. Location is perfect for visiting neighbouring cities and villages. Food was absolutely wonderful. Hard to leave such a place and hoping to be back soon.

We based ourselves in Lucca for 5 days to explore Tuscany. It was great as we had a rental car. Secure and easy parking. Apartment was close to the train station in foot, as well as east to get into the old city.

What an absolute gem of a find, great location near the train station, local cafes and restaurants are at walking distance. Place had a blend of traditional and Modern touches, with every you need. Madaline was a super host and brought me coffee when she came to top up the coffee pods. Such a nice touch. Highly recommended and defo will stay again.

Perfect stay with sunrise views above the hills every morning Well air-conditioned loft despite temperatures above 35 degrees Access in 15 minutes by car to the beaches of Viareggio and 30 minutes from those of forts dei marmi. For opera lovers, 15 minutes from Torre del Lago Puccini (splendid summer program) 30 minutes from Lucca ( beautiful), Pisa, Carrare Ideal for the Versiglia region

In the middle of the olive groves to the charming house we were warmly welcomed by people and later by the sheep. Had a beautiful sunrise in the morning on the terrace in front of the apartment

The location is exceptional, as it is in the historic center. The house is spacious and cozy. We had a great time. I highly recommend it. I'm happy to have chosen Sara's house

Valerio has a wonderful home in the heart of old Lucca, it is furnished with love and respect to the traditions of the city. It is a meticulous example of the old city residence. Valerio was most generous with thoughtful supplies of coffee, bread, milk and a host of other supplies that made all the difference. We were most impressed with the generosity of the breakfast part of bnb. In fact we do not recall an Airbnb at which we were given a more generous supply of food/condiments. The apartment is essentially one good sized room in which there is a beautiful Queen sized bed and also a very comfortable double sized pull out sofa bed that our 19 year old daughter used. We were very close in the same room but this was no problem for us. The kitchen was equipped very well indeed and we enjoyed very much buying food and cooking ourselves after a long day walking. We couldn't have asked for more in the kitchen. The bathroom is separate with a large ante room and is beautifully appointed. There is hot water but it does take a long time to get there, but we were there in summer and it was very hot in Lucca so it did not worry us unduly. The water pressure is modest. There is a significant climb to the apartment, but you can't have the charm of old Lucca in a classic heritage protected building and all the modern conveniences. The only difficulty was with the WiFi service, it was very poor in the apartment, but if you sit on the staircase you can access all you need! We would recommend staying here, it was fabulous for us in the New World to experience a beautiful and ancient apartment in the Old World. Highly recomended

Umamma is a fantastic venue. You have the comfort of a very modern apt located in an ancient medieval Italian town square. The place itself is a work of art with fantastic views. The town of San Miniato is a perfect spot if you are looking for an authentic friendly Italian hilltop village steeped in history and that is off the tourist beaten path. Truffles with every meal. Gio is the best host. Very attentive and generous, helped book destinations, met us for drinks and offered his best dinner places. We look forward to staying here again and following Giovanni’s future developments.

What can I say but wow. We walked in, saw the view and it took my breath away. The pictures make it look like something that can’t exist in reality, but the place is even better than the pictures. It was so peaceful, had everything you could need or want. Gio’s attention to detail is unparalleled. We didn’t want to leave.
