Important: this is a house in the wilderness where you are to arrange heat, water and food for yourself. If this is the challenge you seek, it is absolutely great, in an immensely beautiful nature spot, one of the most peaceful places on Earth, still easily reachable by car. (Which you’ll need given the supermarket being 65 kms from the house). Matti was extremely helpful, always responding quickly and answering any of my questions arising. (Also, read the instructions on the table, they are very helpful.)

Nice place, even nicer than the pictures. Great markets accessible in less than 10 minutes and the first restaurants about 5 minutes away. A great place for walks and discovering arctic life

Our stay at this cottage was nothing short of magical! Nestled in the woods, it offered the perfect cozy retreat, complete with a beautifully outfitted kitchen, a relaxing sauna, and all the comforts of small home. The highlight, without a doubt, was watching the northern lights dance overhead at night—a breathtaking experience we’ll never forget. Every detail in the cabin was thoughtfully designed, making it the ideal spot to unwind and embrace the beauty of nature. We can’t wait to come back! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and unforgettable getaway.
