Vacation rentals with a hot tub in James River

Second stay at Du's place and it was just as great as the first. Everything was as expected, clean, and comfortable. Du's a fantastic host and his unit is perfect for work trips. We appreciate his hospitality and would definitely stay again!

We had a great stay, went went another family of 4, more than enough room for the 8 of us. Cozy home and really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at this charming home during our recent family ski break. The home is extremely clean and exactly as pictured. Jo was very friendly, helpful and responsive. We loved the location. It is a few minute drive to base camp and walkable to the playground (huge plus with our kids). Each evening we could see deer just a few yards away. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone considering this house.

Perfect place for ski weekend! Loved the house - beautiful dining area surrounded by windows, wood fire place, comfy beds & jacuzzi - all well used in between slopes. We were super comfortable & can’t wait to return & rent again!

Nice place to stay. We enjoyed the hot tub and lounging around the house during a snowstorm. Mack was extremely responsive to the few quetions we had!!

Great spot for a winter getaway. Have stayed here before and will continue to do so. Close to skiing, nice hikes and views in neighborhood. Cozy fireplace. Hosts are very responsive to your needs.

This place was perfect for four adults and two kids—plenty of space and easy access to Lower Tyro. Just a heads-up: Lower Tyro doesn’t have lights, so night skiing can be a bit tricky, but you can still make your way down in the dark! The jacuzzi is great, there’s a nice grill on the deck, and plenty of games to enjoy. I’d highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a cozy stay with easy slope access. One tip—consider picking up some extra firewood, as only a small amount is provided.

I can’t say enough great things about David’s villa. The pictures don’t do this place justice. It was even better in person!! David was so responsive to all the questions I had prior to checking in. The location is peaceful, safe, and so serene. The Villa is a great size! His place was clean, spotless, cozy, and such a nice place to stay. We were celebrating our anniversary so this topped the cake for us to recharge and relax. The jacuzzi bathtub was so relaxing! I’m so picky about where I stay when traveling, and this checked every box! So many more great things to say about this place, but I won’t write a novel. Let’s just say, I will be back!! I’m glad I found this place and will stay here every time I visit. Thank you David! 😊

Went here to hang out at a pool over a hot July 4th. Great place and pool with a well maintained kitchen (it had tupperware, full range of kitchen equipment, etc.) and grill. It's right next to a highway, but the noise isn't too noticeable and it makes it easy to get around the Richmond area.

The views are fantastic. The bedrooms and baths were clean and comfortable. The kitchen cabinets appliances, and tops need a thorough cleaning. The dishwasher was not secured but did seem to operate okay. Definitely bring exta bags of ice. Parking was sufficient. The location is great for winery, brewery, and fall festival visits. The unit is older and could use some updates. But, as a whole, it served the family very well and we would consider using it again.

Gorgeous mountain home. Very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the hot tub and proximity to WG. Ben was great host and let us drop our bags early. Can’t wait to return next year !

First you couldn’t get more beautiful views! It was winter and below freezing so we didn’t use any of the sporting equipment. They had tons of games, retro video game system, tons of blankets and towel. I Airbnb often and this is one of the best mattresses we have had. We brought our pups and they loved the little yard! I would come back for sure.

We stayed at the cabin for a 4 days and 3 nights for a ladies retreat that we do annually in different cities. Sherilynn made the process pretty seamless. The place is so cozy and warm, feels like home. We went to the national park and hiked a waterfall trail (dark hollow) then went to see the caverns not far from it. After that we went to the wineries nearby to try some local wines and have bunch. Was easy to cook and use the outdoor fire pit when it was dry out. We loved visiting the creek to have our coffee in the mornings. Would've been nice to stay longer or try out the cabin in the summer. Only thing I was worried about on the way to the cabin are the 7 little bridges over the creek one has to cross on the way in and out of the neighborhood (so to speak). We tried to come in before nightfall each night. All in all, had a wonderful time and loved our trip and our stay in Elkton.

Carmen was an amazing host! Her place was a great spot for a getaway right outside Shenandoah. The hot tub was very nice after a day out hiking. The kitchen was well equipped to make meals and the fire place was nice to relax beside. Bed was comfortable! Definitely a great place to stay!

We headed to the Noridc Cabin for a late-January getaway, and we had a wonderful time. The mountain-woods setting was exactly what we were hoping for. Strolling around the roads was a delight. The house itself was cozy and comfy. Winter hot-tubbing was also a real plus.

We had such a lovely getaway at Lindsey's cabin! It was very private, so we felt comfortably disconnected from neighbors and enjoyed the beautiful environment. The cabin was easy to get to and directions were extremely clear. Lindsey was very communicative and responsive! The cabin was so cozy, and we thoroughly enjoyed the amenities! There is a great selection of movies to pick from and the hot tub was amazing :) We will definitely be coming back!

Great cozy cabin for a secluded getaway. Felt like we were in the middle of nowhere which was exactly what we needed!

What an absolutely gorgeous cabin on a stunning piece of property! It was the best place to get away from busy city life and appreciate nature with luxury amenities (hot tub, game room, big tvs, sound bar, electric fireplace heaters, nice appliances). It is adorned with new & beautiful wood throughout. All furniture is in great condition with plenty of pillows and cozy blankets. The kitchen was nicely stocked with non-perishable items (salts, spices, baking soda, honey sticks, etc). If you plan on baking or cooking, there is plenty of bakeware, utensils, pot holders, grill-ware, pots/pans, even a crock-pot! I do recommend bringing essentials b/c the closest stores are about 20 minutes away. We were lucky enough to get some snow before we arrived, which made the experience even more fulfilling. The snow blanketed the area making it so peaceful ..& trying to decipher the different animal tracks on the snow kept us guessing!! Make time for nearby Luray & Massanutten!! THE BEST TIME!🤩

I stayed here with my son for an extended weekend, mostly just to escape the chaos of life for a few days. The cabin is beautiful and I have nothing negative to say about the experience. I will definitely come back to this place when I need to escape life again! And, when I did have questions, Amelia was very quick to respond. I highly recommend staying here!
