Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Iwate

The house is on the top of a mountain and has beautiful surroundings. Very peaceful and relaxing stay. We felt very welcome despite the language barrier.

The moment I opened the living room door, I was impressed by the beautiful room as pictured!I felt the owner's kindness in warming up the room at check-in time and providing water and coffee and bread in the refrigerator.At night, if you drive a little in the direction of Mt. Iwate, you can see the beautiful starry sky in a vast place with few lights. The range has an oven function, and we enjoyed making sweets.I think it would be nice if you could add a photo of what cooking utensils are provided to your listing.When I asked the owner a question, it was very helpful that they responded quickly every time. Water leaks into the washroom from the gap in the bath door, but you can prevent it by not pointing the shower toward the door.Detergent was provided, and it was also helpful to be able to wash my clothes. I definitely want to come back in summer and autumn, and now I want to enjoy hiking and hot springs!

We had a wonderful stay! Even though we had originally told the host we’d be checking in later, we ended up arriving early—and she was kind enough to come meet us right away after we updated her. She greeted us warmly and gave us a thorough walkthrough of the entire property, explaining everything clearly. The location is absolutely beautiful, with stunning mountain views. We truly loved our stay and definitely plan to come back!

It was an amazing stay, the house is great! Clean, tidy, good location. Host was very responsive and helpful, we did have a small problem with finding the house but the host quickly and efficiently sorted this problem for us and even ordered a taxi for us (as we speak no Japanese this was extremely helpful to us) I hope following our stay the host edits the location of the property on the listing so noone else has the same issue as us, also the WI-FI code provided was incorrect. two very small issues in an otherwise perfect stay which is why I would still stand by the 5 star rating!

I spent one night in this home. Everything is perfect; very clean and the room is very comfortable. Well located, although car is needed in order to be easily accessible. The host is very friendly and offered to help me with whatever I needed. Thank you very much to be able to choose breakfast time, which was also very rich.

In all of our 10+ years of travels, it was my boyfriend and I’s favorite lodging ever!!! It was such a beautiful home, plus it was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was also a great base for us to do all of the day trips we wanted in the area. We stayed with our four-month old daughter who loved the space. We did not want to leave :). Goto is the best host - extremely generous, accommodating and welcoming. Thank you for everything, Goto, we hope to come back some day with our daughter.

The space was minimal. It was clean and had generally everything we needed for our stay, and it was comfortable. I checked in late at night this time, and the view seemed to be good, so I thought it would be ants to stay from dusk and relax. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

Enjoyed our stay at Dai’s place. Dai cooked us a full course meal, told us local folklore story and guided us up a local mountain for pristine views. We also really enjoyed sitting in the kotatsu. Would recommend for a unique and authentic local experience.
