Such a nice home with all the amenities needed. Comfortable bed with nice linens, washing machine, leather love seats and large screen TV. Nice seating area in the back and side of house. We loved the short distance to the small town and beach. Perfect location while visiting Hokitika.

Our stay at Claire's place was all that we hoped for. It is a beautiful space, well appointed and thoughtfully decorated. We were able to walk into town and there was just a short walk to the beach. It is in a very quiet part of town and easy to navigate to. Claire's thorough instructions made us feel like we knew exactly what to expect and do, finding the house, how to enter and exit the house. Thank you for our great stay.

Great house on the West Coast Wilderness Trail. We stayed one night and enjoyed a fire in the wood stove. Just two of us on this trip, but the house could sleep many more. For a larger group would be a great price.

Classic Kiwi bach. Great to be able to take our dogs and to have a secure place to leave them. Right on the Wilderness Trail and a minute’s walk to the lake. Kea in the trees. Bring insect repellent and fly spray for sandflies and mosquitoes.

Trish’s house was very clean, spacious, and an easy walk to the beach and downtown area. We enjoyed sitting out in the backyard and appreciated that she was flexible with the checkin time.

What a special place. A true home from home. Beautifully and uniquely decorated with everything you could need for a short or a long stay. Loved having coffee in the morning looking out to the sea. I will definitely be back again.

Absolutely stunning, comfortable home in gorgeous surroundings. The outdoor bath was a winner and Lisa was so helful and fast to reply. I stayed at Lisa's with four friends over Christmas and everyone absolutely loved it. Highly reccommend, andvwould love to stay again.

Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Claire and Sandy were beyond helpful and went above and beyond in helping me with some deliveries / recommendations etc. The place is beautifully decorated and is full of very lovely things which we appreciated. The outdoor space is well maintained and a great space to relax in. I would definitely recommend this stay and I will be checking out their other listings also.

Hand over heart “thank you” for such a memorable stay! This charming place was much more than we could have asked for: 1. Excellent location! Walkable to the town, beach, restaurants and shops. Plus, visiting Arthur’s Pass was a close drive away (must do the Devils Punchbowl Walking Track great water falls, explore Kyra Tawhiti rock formations and Otira Viaduct Lookout). Also, the Hokitika Gorge is a must see. 2. The home itself met every expectation. Beautiful sunset view off the deck overlooking the ocean (and listening to the waves crash at night was special). We felt so at home; pristinely clean, unbelievable comfy bed, a kitchen that met every need. 3. Claire and Sandy were outstanding hosts, felt like we already knew them! 😊 Communicative, proactive, generous, sincere and first class! Thank you both for sharing your place….it was truly our happy place! Wishing you continued success!

We were able to book last minute on a rainy West Coast day and it was perfect. We soaked in the hot tub and slept so good in the comfortable bed. We would definitely come back!

Lovely cheap, cheerful and cozy little pop top. Good kitchen set up. Spa next to pop top which is shared with other guests. Great hosts!
