Monthly Rentals in Head of Hillsborough

The Blue Bird Cottage is worth every nickel. The view of, and importantly, the experience of being on this beautiful private beach greeted us each morning, noon, and night. Whether it was long walks on the beach, campfires at night, or coffee on the deck in the morning, the location made relaxing easy. Jonathan is a wonderful host and attentive to all of our needs. Our only issues were small, some of the small appliances were old, dirty, and didn't always function properly (coffee maker, kettle). If we make it back to PEI, we'll definitely stay there again.

I was looking for a cozy private place close to my friends on PEI. This was my first winter visit after 50+ years of summer trips to camp. The Island is bracingly beautiful in winter, and no mosquitos or people! This place I chose to take refuge from the cold was above and beyond what I was looking for. Will and Brian are the loveliest humans. Friendly, super accommodating, respectful of your space yet responsive if you need anything. The place is spotless, tastefully appointed and the shower is the best! I was treated to a welcome package of eggs, honey, jam, syrup, bread, butter, milk and skin care products all from the Island. If you are looking for the whole Island experience this is the place. I have new lifelong friends. And if you like dogs, you will love their dog, Daisy!

Perfect stay for our long weekend in PEI! The spot was cozy with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The space was peaceful and just what we needed for a sweet getaway. Definitely coming back next year!

Lucy is a wonderful host. Very kind and helpful, she even brought us treats. The cottage is very spacious and well equipped with all you might need. The location is easy to access and it is quiet and peaceful. We were happy to be there.
