Monthly Rentals in Grand Canal

I rented Marina’s apartment to take my girlfriend to Venice (and Italy) for the first time. If you think the pictures are beautiful, then you will be awestruck in person. The apartment seems bigger than the photos suggest, and the view on the canal is unequaled by any AirB&B I’ve come across. The apartment is historical with many pieces of antique furniture, which combined, made the stay feel magical. As we left, we suddenly heard music play from the canal and saw that the carnival regatta was passing by the windows, allowing us a private showing of this beautiful event consisting of many boats, gondolas and costumed characters. Marina and Rob were also very hospitable and accommodating to our check-in and check-out timings. The location is fantastic, with St Marco being only a 10 minute walk away. Thank you, Marina and Rob, we can’t wait to return soon.

Perfect to stay in Venice and close to the a Vaporetto stop. The apartment is in the 3rd floor, hence the view but no elevator so just be prepared to “lug” your luggage’s up. Once you’re settled, you will feel right at home. Just the right size for a family of 4 max. And the neighborhood is perfect. As she stated it’s the residential part of Venice, you’re not bothered too much with the tourist noise and a more local neighborhood feel when coming home after a long day of touring. And Maria was responsive and so friendly. I got the Italian greeting 😃. Would definitely stay here again on a much longer trip for us back to Venice.

We had a great time at Leone's place. He went out of his was to meet us personally and take us to the apartment. The apartment was very clean and well furnished. It was well located in a quiet area but close enough to shops and restaurants with the main square walkable within 20 minutes. The balcony was an added bonus to use even in February!!
