Monthly Rentals in Ettaler Manndl

Stayed there for 2 weeks while at NSO. Good location to walk both to school and centre. Nice and peaceful place.

The day after arriving at Ursla's house, the cross-country ski competition "Kanin-Hill-Hudlrich-Lauf", which I had planned to participate in, was canceled due to a lack of snow, which was disappointing, but Ursla was kind enough to tell me about other courses where I could ski, and her son waxed my skis. In a nutshell, the room and surrounding area are wonderful. The kitchen was easy to use and well equipped, so I had fun cooking and almost didn't eat out. The room was spacious and relaxing. Every morning, the sparrows came to the trees in the front yard and chirped, and I woke up to the sound of the chickens next door, and I had a luxurious time that would not have been possible in the city. Ursla's house and the surrounding houses were heated with firewood, and I felt the warmth. I am envious that they practice a carbon-neutral life without using fossil fuels such as kerosene. The mountains are right outside the window, and it is worth coming just to see the scenery. The location is also good, a 3-minute walk from the station, and it is easy to get to Ettal, where the Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the Benedictine monastery, known as the "Jewel of Bavaria", are located. I recommend Ursula's home to everyone.

Mariana is an amazing host!! She puts so much care into the details, and it really helped me feel at home.

All round, a successful stay. The apartment was incredibly beautiful, everything was clean, the amenities were generous, attention was paid to small things that may be expected for many, but rounded it all off for us. There was a selection of tea and coffee, spices and everything else you need for your daily needs. The bed is comfortable, the couch anyway. It was just perfect. Anytime again.
