wonderful stay at Sanath and his wife's place. take your meals on site, you won't be disappointed, it's worthy of a great restaurant!it's the best food we've tasted in Sri Lanka, hearty, diverse and local. the safari with Sanath was magical, it is very respectful of animals, turns off his engine and whispers so as not to scare them. He was able to find the places where the elephants, mongoos, crocodiles, monkeys, birds etc.. he looked for places away from other jeep so that we were more quiet with the animals.Sanath shared his knowledge of rangers and took us to the transit home elephant where he works with baby elephants. Lovely family, go there without a second thought!!!

we had a beautiful time in this treehouse and Ajith went out of his way to make sure we had a great day. He booked an organised our tours and the food from the kitchen was absolutely delicious. You must go to the elephant feeding place only a 15 minute walk away. It was a total highlight of our trip for us seeing all the baby elephants

We loved our stay with Hasith, who is a very helpful and responsive host. the room and bathroom were very clean, the service was spotless. We also enjoyed the dinner and breakfast which were delicious and in large quantities. We would highly recommend this place to stay!

Super nice family, helpful, very good food and a cool safari organized. The cabins are clean and lovingly designed and the family is extremely nice and likeable. There are also great coconut objects such as spoons, cups made by the father-in-law to buy cheap. All in all highly recommended. We were only there one night due to the safari., so we can't say anything about restaurants etc. in the surrounding area.
