Vacation rentals in Big Sur

Lovely home, with everything you could need. The host was very responsive. The neighborhood was blissfully peaceful. House is close to town. Would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay here! The apartment feels like a house, with plenty of room and a layout that ensures comfort, quiet and privacy. Easy walk to the beach. Hosts provided lots of suggestions for things to do and places to eat. The area is great for walking and hiking. I would highly recommend choosing John’s place as a hub for Central Coast visits.

We stayed in Tracy’s home with another couple and both of us have younger children, 6 and 8 months. The home was perfect as there is a bedroom on the first floor and then two bedrooms on the top floor. This enabled us to use the lower level for the children and give them a quiet environment while enjoying ourselves at night. The house is very conveniently located in terms of downtown Pismo and the beach. Tracy was very responsive to any questions and we would highly recommend staying here.

Great value for money! A block from the ocean with nice beaches and the dunes! A couple local restaurants nearby, and the property has a jacuzzi, too, to relax in the evening. Clean, comfortable, and just a few minutes drive to many local attractions. Responsive host with clear instructions for everything. Would recommend!

We enjoyed every single second of our stay here! The location is super convenient! And the place is very cozy! Our host, Jennifer, has the clearest instructions for checking in!! We would love to a long term rental here in near future!!!😀😀

We enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful and conveniently located close to town but still very remote and private. Being able to hike to the top of the hill was a bonus. The house itself is in good condition and is a real home with lived-in character and charm, not a staged made-for-rental unit like so many other vacation rentals. (For example, the kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, utensils, and ample dishes for multiple guests.) The weather was cool during our February stay, but the outdoor living spaces would be fabulous during warmer months. Be sure to enter the gate code patiently and deliberately for best results!

Daisy was awesome! I was planning to get a ham & cheese croissant from The Buttery while I was in Santa Cruz, and guess what was on the counter upon my arrival?? The croissant was delicious. I also really enjoyed the charcuterie style snacks and the great suggestion to go to a little known dog park half a block away. She was very kind and available for questions etc. The private patio space is a wonderful place to sit out and get some sun. The location can't be beat; you are so close to most everything! Walking distance or a short car ride for the things I was planning to do. I love being able to visit the redwoods and the beach in the same weekend. Very rejuvenating.

The condo was well worth the reasonable price. It was beautifully clean and comfortable with spacious bed/bath rooms. The garage was a very nice plus. A very good option for SLO visitors!

You will not be disappointed and will want to return right away. Nelson was a great host. He sent us appropriate information about the house along with his expectations. The three bedrooms were adorable. The bedding is comfy. Everything is decorated to enhance coziness. The neighborhood is beautiful and we had nice, quiet neighbors. From the house, we enjoyed watching the kite-surfing-- something to see if you never have. The kitchen is clean and well appointed down to little cherub napkin rings and cloth napkins. Cayucos is right down the street. Don't forget to try Martin's for delicious Mexican or Italian food. Duckies is great from fish and chips and clam chowder. Everything is convenient and close. We can't wait to return to The Pink Gem. We've made our first set of happy memories there.
