Anja and Pieter’s place is a beautiful spot for a peaceful and relaxing break. We walked to and from town easily (35mins ish) via the idyllic walkways and hired bikes in Schagen to explore the surrounding areas (including tonnes of incredible tulips!). The place itself is comfortable, cosy, yet spacious. The setting and views are amazing. Anja and Pieter are extremely helpful and friendly and went above and beyond to welcome us warmly. We hope to come back one day and recommend to all!

cozy accommodation in a very quiet location. Surroundings very suitable for bike trips. Accommodation very central to get to the North Sea or the IJsselmeer. Private courtyard area to enjoy the sun sheltered from the wind. Carina and Marco were very friendly hosts who helped in all matters.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Jody's place! It was a special pleasure for us to be the first guests to open the season. From the beginning we were welcomed incredibly warmly and immediately felt at home thanks to the great hospitality. The place was quiet, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. An absolute highlight is the boat, which can be used as a guest. Thanks again for this! Communication with Jody and Huib was always easy and fast. We can fully recommend this place and these wonderful hosts and hope they have a great season with many equally enthusiastic guests!

Absolutely wondeful cottage on the water - cosy, comfortable and very well thought out. We had a fantastic time going out on the boat (our little 4 year old learned to row!) and sitting on the deck, enjoying watching the ducks and coots. Mike and Denise are very attentive hosts. We miss it already and hope to be back!
