A wonderful modern cabin, loved the hot tub. Perfect for a quiet escape from the city. Super easy to get to and great location surrounded by mature trees.

Greg’s place is incredible, we would all go back in a heartbeat! Greg is a great host, always responsive and he made sure we had great stay. The place itself is beautiful, has a lot amenities and it’s super cozy. Beds are very comfortable and every space clean and well taken care of. Definitely recommended.

We enjoyed a peaceful spring vacation at Harsh and Dee's place. It was a beautiful spot and Harsh was very helpful and communicative. I would recommend this spot to others!

If I could rate this place in one sentence it would be "we wished we lived here". Everyone in my family (dog included) loved the property. It was CLEAN, nice, spacious, warm and exactly as what you see in the photos. We didn't use the indoor fireplace at all as the home was well heated (I get cold easily too). The living room makes you feel very cozy when the sunsets and watching the stars at night here is breathtaking. The hosts sends you a PDF guide prior to your arrival so you know what to expect and a hard copy is available onsite as well. We mainly communicated with Foad and he was very responsive, kind and really helped us out when we got lost on our way there. Quick tip: use Google Maps! The hosts also provided complimentary chocolate and champagne when you arrive which was an added bonus. I'm also very thankful for the complimentary Keurig/ hot chocolate! Will definitely revisit again!

We had a great weekend at The Cove! We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub and the views. We played board games from home & tried some new ones in the selection at the cottage. It was spacious & private, which was exactly what we were looking for.

We had a great time at the cabin! There was everything we needed to cook and the hot tub was great. The location was beautiful. I would say the futons fit one person each. We had 9 people and it was a tight with all of our winter stuff. Overall, we felt everything was well-thought out in the cabin.

Davids place was beautiful and made for an enjoyable stay for our group visit. He was responsive and provided all additional details both in our chats as well as leaving a small booklet in the cottage itself highlighting places of interest nearby. The firepit and the gazebo are the most impressive parts of the property. Wifi coverage inside the cottage was fantastic and was very useful for any further research since the cellular network coverage is spotty at best. Bon Echo is just about a 20 minute drive away and there are more places within a 1 hour radius though we chose to mostly have a leisurely time on the property itself. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, private fun time in the middle of nature.

Staying at Julia’s place was a great experience ! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described (if not better). The space was cozy, stylish, and had all the thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. Julia was an exceptional host—super responsive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure we had a great experience.

Everything about our stay was exceptional from the minute we arrived! It was the perfect fall getaway, with a cozy place to stay especially with the beautiful fall leaves changing around us. It was close and convenient to pop in to town, and we just had the best visit! The cottage was well maintained, clean and organized with everything we needed. The hosts were helpful, responsive, and thoughtful throughout our trip. I can’t say enough good things - we couldn’t have picked a better place for our stay!

My family and I were happy to stay at this rental property for a second time over the Easter long weekend. Barry continues to be a great host. The home remains spacious enough for a big family (and dog!), while remaining cozy and comfortable. We had yet another peaceful weekend in the Valley. We had a perfect winter getaway and would be back anytime. The description and pictures shown are accurate, it’s actually more beautiful in person. Loved how well-equipped the place is. From everything you might need in the kitchen&bathroom to the beautiful and thoughtful touches like the inside swing and the coffee table books, games, movies, an array of pillows and blankets to choose from and comfy beds. This place felt like home as soon as we walked in. The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful and feels private even with the neighbouring houses. The sauna is breathtaking and a luxurious addition. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. Caroline was so kind and responsive and graciously extended help during a bad ice storm that happened during our stay. We would come back, 10/10. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Had an amazing stay! The view is absolutely breathtaking, and the place was super peaceful and cozy. Perfect spot to just chill and unwind. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with some incredible scenery. Erica is a great host!

This cottage was the absolute perfect place to enjoy some down time as a family! The cottage was clean, well equipped and located on a beautiful, quiet beach. Everything we needed was provided and more! We enjoyed playing soccer on the large sandy beach, swimming, fishing, board games, campfires and watching movies in the evening. The kids and parents loved it!

Jilaine’s cottage was the perfect setting for our cozy girls’ weekend. We couldn’t get over the stunning views and how beautiful & cozy the space was! We happened to be here on one of the snowiest weekends in years. The driveway was promptly cleared twice and the cottage road was plowed regularly despite the storms. Jilaine was very accommodating and quick to respond to messages. We hope to come back again soon!

This gem tucked on the Madawaska River is ideal for many reasons: - the cabin is situated on a small hill overlooking the flowing river, it is peaceful and beautiful, cosy and cute. - it is located in an area that is great for those looking for a little wanderlust/adventure close by - Tooey's Lake & Lake Clear were the nearby lakes that were great for day trips! - and the cabin itself is very clean, well equipped for making meals, and super comfortable - the mattresses were amazing, plush and comfortable. Luka is a terrific host, attentive, quickly responsive, and added some nice touches to our stay (provided wood for our fires, and dropped off some extra essentials that we needed). Keep in mind to bring your linens, and that swimming is not ideal for those with mobility issues, although, for those more experienced swimmers, it is a great spot to enjoy the water. We will be back, thanks Luka! 5 Stars all around.

This place was awesome! It was a lake-side cottage, and even in winter, it kept us entertained with games, foosball, and TVs. The two kitchens and two living rooms made it perfect for big groups. The cozy wood accents and fully equipped kitchen made it feel like home. Overall, this cottage was the perfect place to stay!

Heronview Cottage is such a quaint and quiet place to stay and relax in the comfort of a cozy house with a fireplace, away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Cam and Karley are wonderful hosts who made the trip so easy and had the place set up exactly as you’d want it! Everything is nicely kept, modern, clean and comfy. Perth is a quick drive and there is lots of shops and restaurants to enjoy. Cam and Karley had the place nicely stocked with supplies and tea/coffee which was greatly appreciated. The place is very cute with ample room to relax, cook, watch TV and play board games all in the presence of a lovely wood stove for enjoying a fire. There is plenty of space for the dog to run around and explore a little too! Thanks to Cam and Karley, we look forward to coming back soon to Heronview!

My wife and I enjoyed another wonderful weekend and this perfect cozy cottage. All aspects of this property are top notch from the location to the construction. Every detail has been thoughtfully addressed to create a comfortable home away from home. Chris and David are the ultimate hosts and always go above and beyond to ensure that we have the best vacation possible. Somehow they were even able to provide beautiful warm sunny weather for our weekend. :)

Katie's cottage was the perfect weekend getaway for us all, and before and throughout the stay she was communicative and helpful. We were a group of 6 adults and we felt extremely comfortable with the amenities and amount of space available, as well as the beautiful lakeview. Katie was also kind enough to leave us with ample cooking supplies and even a s'mores kit and a bottle of sparkling wine! The cottage itself was very cozy and did not feel cramped or aged at all. All in all, it was a fantastic stay and we're bookmarking her place to reserve another trip in the near future!

We had a wonderful stay! We had gloriously warm, sunny weather every day, with not a drop of rain. It was just the two of us so we opted to stay in the beautiful, cozy boathouse. It had everything we needed. The summer kitchen is basic but very functional and served our needs. The boathouse is very private and the surroundings were quiet. Just be ready for the stairs down from the main house/parking area. They’re steep but well lit, with lots of handrails. There’s a very cool screened building halfway down too. The swimming is fantastic - it’s deep off the dock and the water was really clear. Every day we swam, lounged on the dock, had coffee on the balcony, took afternoon naps, BBQ’d, and enjoyed drinks by the campfire. A truly restful vacation. James was a great and very responsive host. We highly recommend staying here!
