Darryl and Allyson’s Lakehouse was the perfect place for a weekend getaway with friends. It’s clean and comfortable with everything we needed to enjoy ourselves, and we even got to enjoy a Lake Huron sunset from the upper deck. Darryl and Allyson are responsive and honest and generally great hosts. We’ll be back!

My sister did a last min booking an hour before we arrived and Jess was super accommodating! everything was lovely and it was exactly what we needed for a little wellness getaway! we even extended our stay another night because we were soo relaxed and happy with the place and location! I highly reccomend staying here.

We had a wonderful one-day stay and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The view from the living room was absolutely stunning, and the barbecue setup added a great touch to our time there. Sitting by the fireplace was incredibly relaxing, and the rooms and washrooms were spotless and well-maintained. We did encounter a minor issue with the bathtub, but it was promptly addressed by the hosts. Overall, the hosts were extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

We spent 4 nights to do some ice fishing. We had 9 people in total and had more than enough room. Everything was spotless and as described in the listing. As a bonus, we had a very successful fishing trip! The property looks like it would be fabulous in the summer as well.

This was the most memorable stay. The hot tub and sauna were a great plus! It is impeccably clean and super cozy. I love the privacy and the layout is fantastic. There is a squirrel that hangs around and peanuts are provided to feed him by hand! So cute. This is an amazing couples getaway. I would HIGHLY recommend!

We’ve been visiting cottage bear for 5 years now and it’s always a highlight of our year. The cottage and surroundings are beautiful and Liane is an ideal host.

The cabin was so cute and comfortable, clean and all instructions clearly posted or in a file binder. We had fun touring the area and had great sleeps. We’ll try to get back there again this year!

Great stay, Jacquie was proactive and clear with communication both while booking and closer to arrival date. Accomodation was clean and comfortable and well equipped for our stay, would recommend!

The kw house is one of a kind , relaxing on the patio looking down at the river ,well decorated inside and outside the cottage makes you feel right away on vacation , quiet and enjoyable Place,always having a perfect stay , will be back next year!

We loved our stay at the Tiny House for a second time, very peaceful ! We will definitely be returning !

The cottage was exactly what we hoped for. Quiet, peaceful, yet not far removed from amenities. A lovely beach was an easy walk, wooded areas, no road noise or light pollution. You can hear the ocean on a quiet night. The log fire was a lovely after a rainy hike. Lots to do within an easy drive. The cottage was clean and tidy, homey but not cluttered. It is on a septic system, guests should be mindful about the toiletries used, but the hosts supply the essentials like shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The kitchen is well equipped with any standard utensil you could wish for while on a vacation. The wooden stairs are slippery, grippy slipper socks would be a good thing to pack. The only thing I would have changed for my own particular circumstance, would be to have had two twin beds in the second bedroom, only because I have four teens who will share a bedroom but not a bed. The sofa bed in the lounge solved that problem, however made differing bed and waking times challenging.

What a little piece of paradise! We could sit for hours watching the ocean right in front, and even woke up some time in the middle of the night to watch the moon rise over the water. Very quiet and secluded, away from the beach crowds even though the beach can get pretty busy on nice days. We already wish we were back there! Terence is very communicative and we had everything we needed. Bonus for it being dog friendly!

The cottage was lovely! Such a unique layout and conveniently located close to the beach, and sandwiched between the amenities on either side of Isle Madame. A quick jaunt to the restaurants in either direction. The sound of waves crashing on the shoreline could be heard all night long in a peaceful way, and Shelley and Julien were responsive and helpful when we had a question. The chickens in the backyard were a great addition, as well as the deer who came to visit our front lawn.

I used the cabin as a fishing headquarters/home base for angling on Lake Winnipeg for 5 weeks.Glenn’s cabin was very good location and I was able to access all waterways within 15-20 mins by snowmobile or truck. The cabin was exactly that-a cabin. This is not an all inclusive resort but rather a nice quiet cabin in the woods. The cabin has everything you could need for a weekend, a week, or a month. It is elderly and rustic but everything works great and Glenn was. Very helpful although I did not require his attentiveness much. Fabulous fishing trip, thanks Glenn. I may be back next winter if time allows.

Such a fantastic place to stay, cabin was clean & lots of room. Tony was always available when needed and very accommodating. Looking forward to our next stay with Tony!

This stay was absolutely beautiful! Such a sweet cottage, in a beautiful, private and peaceful location. So comfy and cosy, at the some time as feeling luxury with the hot tub. Would recommend, and will be staying again! Also, the family of deer that visit are so friendly, just magical. A lot of space to do all of the things I enjoy, fire pit, barbecue and a hot tub!

Our stay at the chalet was amazing! The space was not only stunning but also super well-organized and clean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. The host was extremely helpful and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. We’d love to come back!

Beautiful stay in this excellent little cabin - a great jumping-off point for adventures. Gosia was very welcoming, and we enjoyed chatting with her over breakfast.

Alan & Rosalie’s cottage was everything we could have asked for and more ! It was a perfect place to just relax and recharge after a busy fall and Christmas season. We wanted for nothing, it had everything we needed. Alan met us when we arrived and explained where everything was and how it all worked. My wife and I and our two dogs had a wonderful experience. We will most definitely be doing a return visit. If you are looking for a place to getaway and relax this is the place, highly recommend it ! Thank you Alan & Rosalie !

Had a great stay for a few cozy nights. Loved the fireplace and we enjoyed seeing quite a few deer across the river on multiple occasions. Kids enjoyed the books, games, and drawing set. Thanks Catherine!
