Waterfront vacation rentals in West LA

What can I say but wow this was my first time in Santa Monica and first time in LA and this location did not disappoint while it was much cooler outside than I expected which limited my time on the beach the amazing views from the balcony actually kept me in the unit more than I originally anticipated The balcony is on the second floor, and so it comes with a couple of trade-offs while the view is amazing, you do get some odd looks if you are standing only 20 feet off the ground, but I made casual conversations with several of the passer buys, which got some laughs and some waves. I guess it’s just my Kentucky hospitality that I brought along for the trip. Check-in was easy. Communication was great. The parking is secure. The building is an apartment building not a condo building so it’s not maintained as well as some other places I’ve stayed but once inside the unit, it’s a nice little studio that was clean and smelled great

Loved Emily’s place. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. The view of the ocean was amazing and the place was pristine. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay at Ami’s place in long beach!! the space was super cozy and inviting, and Ami was extremely accommodating, ready to help at a moments notice. Super close to the beach and near some great restaurants. Would highly recommend this place next time you’re in long beach!

We loved Mona’s place! It was one of the cutest airbnbs we’ve stayed at. It has a totally eclectic charm, and one of the best views of the river in Topanga. We loved everything about it - from the layout, amenities (amazing indoor tub!), hot tub, view, location… we enjoyed everything moment

My family and I had a great time at Jonathan’s house. Lots of amenities and close to both the beach and shops/restaurants

Joe’s place was great! Super close to Santa Monica pier and beaches. We had a car and it was easy to get there and parking was straightforward. The place is tidy and the WiFi was good - my partner and I worked remote in the mornings and had no issue being on simultaneous video calls. Hosts are super responsive, friendly and helpful. Great hosts and great place - recommended! 😊

Bradley and his father Robert were wonderful hosts. They made us feel right at home and were incredibly helpful throughout the check-in and check-out process. Robert even gave us his personal recommendations for Manhattan Beach. The location can’t be beat and we truly can’t wait to go back and stay at this home again.

Nice studio close to the beach and the everything Malibu has to offer

It’s our 4th or 5th time staying at Debra’s and we’re already planning our next stay! Her home is so charming, plenty of amenities and is a great location for walking to the beach, restaurants, TJoe’s, gift shops, bars, and parks. Weather permitting, her patio, garden and yard is so pleasant and private - a great place to relax, read and just hang out. Debra was also so accommodating when my brother drove down from Nevada and stayed with us a couple days. At the tail end of our stay, her dishwasher stopped working and she’s already sent me a pic of the new DW she purchased! Obviously we love it there and can’t wait to return!

A truly delightful place ! Creative touches everywhere make it unique and welcoming . Musical instruments, cool textiles and decor, sweet little gardens spilling with colorful plants , serene jungly allyway, surprisingly silent at night too, (considering its 1 block from beach) bikes and surfboards - wow ! highly recommend

Fantastic host! Stocked the fridge with water and left us some fruit and chocolate for our arrival. Gave us early check in and late checkout. The house itself was very clean and well maintained. The upstairs bathrooms even have bidets. Would 100% stay again. The only negative worth mentioning is the house is on a main road so there was car noise audible in the mornings. But that's the trade off for being directly across from the beach entrance.

We had a great stay at Zev & Melissa’s - comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, great living space with view of the ocean. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Only stayed 1 night but will book for longer next time we are in town. Location is great! We like to walk to the beach and it is so close. The view from the rooftop and even the kitchen was great also! Our host was very responsive and friendly. Helped us find a quick bite as soon as we got there. The home temperature was comfortable and very well equipped for any outside temperature to make sure that each room / floor was at the temperature that you want it to be at.

Frank is an excellent host and very responsive to all of our needs. The house is huge, right on the beach and definitely as advertised. Furniture is very retro 60s/70s -- and we loved that! Will definitely plan to come back ... perfect if you want to be close to LAX and West LA.

Victoria was an amazing host! Very communicative and such a kind heart. The fires were happening in the north and our friends we were meeting at her house, came in a day earlier and were staying in another hotel close to fires. She offered them to come a day early to get away from the smoke!! Her house was south of fires, so we were OK here. She then offered us a late checkout as our flight wasn't until 8pm at night. This was so welcome as we have young children. She really went above and beyond! Her place is very homely and great to be close to the beach. Thank you for everything Victoria :)

Excellent stay! Spacious and clean with unobstructed views of the ocean for beautiful sunsets from the comfort of the couch. Kitchen very usable with appropriate utensils. Walk down to beach, specifically that beach area has a restaurant on the sand, swingsets for kids, and a restroom. Amanda is very friendly and made the stay easy and enjoyable. We would stay there again!

Overall a five star stay, BUT, I wish the host had a printed binder of house rules. I had to reach out to the host for each item that I needed. When I did reach out, the host was very responsive, but still, cutting out a middleman would have been a perfect stay. This came close. Stunning views, lovely space, and host had fresh flowers for my arrival. Five stars, will visit again!

Sam’s condo was a great getaway! Located new the beach and plenty of restaurants. Everyone was around was so nice and friendly. He answered every message in a very timely manner, even with him being out of the country at the time. I recommend this place!

We had a great stay! Chris and Jillian's house is beautiful and has a great location. It was amazing waking up to the ocean view every morning. It was very peaceful and relaxing! Plus they had lots of great beach toys for the kids to play with.

Issue with the remote to get into the garage other then that it was a great location
