Waterfront vacation rentals in West LA

What can I say but wow this was my first time in Santa Monica and first time in LA and this location did not disappoint while it was much cooler outside than I expected which limited my time on the beach the amazing views from the balcony actually kept me in the unit more than I originally anticipated The balcony is on the second floor, and so it comes with a couple of trade-offs while the view is amazing, you do get some odd looks if you are standing only 20 feet off the ground, but I made casual conversations with several of the passer buys, which got some laughs and some waves. I guess it’s just my Kentucky hospitality that I brought along for the trip. Check-in was easy. Communication was great. The parking is secure. The building is an apartment building not a condo building so it’s not maintained as well as some other places I’ve stayed but once inside the unit, it’s a nice little studio that was clean and smelled great

We had a great stay in Manhattan Beach! It was fun to be right on the stand - walkable, beautiful and convenient. Emily was proactive and responsive. We hope to be back!

This place is an absolute dream! My partner and I stayed for 10 days and would definitely come back. Obsessed with the location, 1 short block from beach and Venice boardwalk. Countless delicious restaurants and cafes. The views were incredible. The apartment is newly remodeled, brand new everything. It’s a bright and cozy atmosphere. The hosts are lovely<3 It can get loud at times from outside people on the street and music blasting but that was minimally during the day and didn’t bother us at all. If you have work calls during the day my partner just had his noises cancel headphones and his clients didn’t hear anything. Another to note is the pipes in the walls are very loud at night, unless you’re a heavy sleeper you will definitely need earplugs to sleep (which the hosts provide).

I had a fantastic stay in Long Beach! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together. It had everything I needed for a relaxing stay, and the location was perfect—close to great restaurants, the beach, and local attractions. Ami was communicative and welcoming, making check-in and check-out smooth and hassle-free. Highly recommend!

Great location, well-stocked kitchen, had all the necessities and more. We loved the comfy beds and large couch in the living room for hanging out. We would absolutely stay here again for some much-needed relaxation and time at the beach!

Amazing place! So happy that I was able to snag this place as last minute as I did. The original apt that I got was not available so they swapped me over to another apt, super similar! I appreciated them asking me if that was okay before moving forward! Complex is super close to the pier! Both hosts were super responsive to any questions I had, which were a lot! Place was super clean, no imperfections! Made multiple target runs to the one nearby, super convenient. A little hesitant when having food delivered, but the doordashers were aware of how to get into complex. Overall, will definitely look here again when I come back! Thank you again!

We had an incredible stay at Bradley's Airbnb in Manhattan Beach! The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach, as well as multiple restaurants and shops, making it so easy to explore the area. The apartment itself was fantastic: well-stocked, clean, and spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our family of five, including three teenagers. Bradley's father, Robert, was the main contact and is an excellent host. He was always available for recommendations and went above and beyond by giving us a personal walking tour of the area when we arrived. His knowledge of the local spots made our trip even more enjoyable. Overall, our experience was amazing, and we highly recommend staying here! It was the perfect place for our family vacation. We can not wait to return!

The place was so nice! Looked just like the pictures. The host was super helpful and responded quickly. We were able to check in early. The only downside was the location. The beach on this street is pretty dirty but if you walk down a few blocks it gets nicer.

Nice studio close to the beach and the everything Malibu has to offer

This is hands down the best home I’ve rented! It has everything you could need - definitely feels like a home and not a rental! The house was so cute and loved the touches from the original home. The furniture was very comfortable and everything felt clean! We absolutely loved our time. The dutch door looking out to the back was wonderful. We loved watching the kids play in the sand or swing on the hammock. The only downside was that the beach directly behind the home (over the sand berm) is not clean. There is loads of trash including needles. But you can easily walk to the nicer part of the beach or the bay area directly across the street. Would definitely rent again! The hosts were so communicative and friendly. Would recommend!

It’s our 4th or 5th time staying at Debra’s and we’re already planning our next stay! Her home is so charming, plenty of amenities and is a great location for walking to the beach, restaurants, TJoe’s, gift shops, bars, and parks. Weather permitting, her patio, garden and yard is so pleasant and private - a great place to relax, read and just hang out. Debra was also so accommodating when my brother drove down from Nevada and stayed with us a couple days. At the tail end of our stay, her dishwasher stopped working and she’s already sent me a pic of the new DW she purchased! Obviously we love it there and can’t wait to return!

This is our 3rd time staying here, and it is just our home away from home. There is just a sprinkle of magic in this home, and I believe it has everything to do with Bridgett with all her creativity, and love put into all the little details. It just feels like a hug when we stay here, and the memories I have of my daughters are just priceless! So grateful for this place!

Fantastic host! Stocked the fridge with water and left us some fruit and chocolate for our arrival. Gave us early check in and late checkout. The house itself was very clean and well maintained. The upstairs bathrooms even have bidets. Would 100% stay again. The only negative worth mentioning is the house is on a main road so there was car noise audible in the mornings. But that's the trade off for being directly across from the beach entrance.

This is such a perfect getaway spot. You can see the beach from the large windows and Don had umbrella and chairs, sand toys, boogie boards, etc that we could take the few steps to the ocean. You can easily walk to coffee, restaurants, ice cream, playground, and more. Beautiful home! And Don and Rebecca were so helpful- unloading/loading our car, setting up the umbrella, helping us get on bikes to explore, and more. Will absolutely be back!

A super clean, cozy, sun-filled lighted apartment with great views. The Convention Center conveniently walkable and easy access to Shoreline bike-walking path, or three blocks away from the LB Downtown Friday Farmers Market. Furniture and bed comfortable, linens plentiful, with stocked kitchen utensils to dine in. Definitely recommend this apartment, and its kind and responsive host!

Yese is a very responsive host. Her place was absolutely beautiful, clean and in a perfect location. I was able to cook several meals in the well stocked kitchen and it was easy to feel at home in this place. We would stay again!

This condo was very beautiful and the views from the living room and dining room were amazing. Our only thing is we didn't realize how steep the stairs were, and my mother couldn't climb them, so she had to stay somewhere else. Then we checked out. So, we paid for something we couldn't enjoy and that was sad. Not even a small portion of a refund was offered to us.

Best location in Manhattan beach on the strand directly in front of the ocean. Our stay was perfect. Would love to stay at Tony’s again.

This was one of the most beautiful locations I have stayed at! I am an avid traveler and advisor, so I have stayed MANY places. This was my first visit to Malibu specifically, and Bill and his space were nothing short of amazing. You can hear the waves from anywhere in the home, and it is so peaceful. All of the linens and towels were cleaned, with ample amounts of extra pieces! There was also MULTIPLE different kinds of shampoos and conditioners that were provided, plus small things you may not think about such as cotton balls and Bobby pins. The kitchen has all condiments and every utensil you may need to cook! We felt safe and secure, and the neighbors were also so kind and lovely. The secured parking structure and entrance was helpful and the shared pool and hot tub were a great addition. This is a 10/10, and in walking distance to Nobu and other popular restaurants! If you are thinking of booking here, do not hesitate!

I had an INCREDIBLE stay in Long Beach thanks to Nico! They were so flexible and worked with me on an earlier check in time. It was spotless and comfortable. I will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Overall, we enjoyed the place immensely and we will definitely stay there again a beautiful apartment right on the beach with all the amenities of family needs
