Hostel vacation rentals in West Indies

We stayed for 9 nights and absolutely had an awesome stay! the room was clean and AC worked perfectly. We really enjoyed the environment and sense of community that this hostel fosters as well as enjoying the privacy of a seperate room while staying there. The supermarkets are extremely close (2 to choose from within a 5 minute walk), the beach is super close, and the property is far enough off the main road that noise and dust aren't an issue. It was a pleasure staying here and would very stay again!

Hostal Heredia is a fantastic place to stay in Santigao de Cuba. Our room was well-maintained, with a working air con, delicious breakfast every morning, comfortable bed and a good shower. These can all be rarities in Cuba at the moment. The staff were great - friendly and considerate, and the meal we had on the terrace one evening was very good. The Hostal is a about a ten minute walk from the main square so very well located. At this moment, the most important thing about any place to stay in Santiago, is a generator, and fortunately Hostal Heredia has one, which meant that we had power for the majority of our stay. There was a mix-up at check-in, so it is worth checking in advance to make sure your room is avaiable, but that shouldn't deter from what is a brilliant Hostal at a resonable price. Communication with Raul was also fast and easy. Overall a super experience, and the best place I've staying in Santiago. We'll definitely be returning next time we're there.

Great stay in Santa Clara, Dinorah is the loveliest person! She makes the best breakfast in Santa Clara, must try the toastadas! Sad to say goodbye to her, she really is a sweetheart! If you ever find yourself in Santa Clara, stay at Hostal Casa Blanca with Dinorah- you will not regret it! She even helped us arrange a taxi to Trinidad.

Very friendly, helpful host, speaks very good English. A large apartment with its own kitchen. Nice neighborhood, quiet, peaceful. Among the disadvantages: there was no wifi, I don't know if always or because of electricity problems throughout Cuba. (But the wifi was not promised in the description, no complaints). An important nuance for travelers - there are no European outlets in the apartment. You can ask the host for an adapter, but you need to keep that in mind.

Casa Coral was the perfect escape for my husband and me. We spent one night here and had wonderful recommendations for food and beaches. We met friendly travelers and wished we had time to stay here longer.

The house has a lot of charm! The lady who receives is of absolute kindness she helped me immensely to find transportation to return to Havana and the breakfasts are delicious! Go without hesitation for a short stop!

I love this place! My 3rd time staying here and every time there are more upgrades. The Restaurant is wonderful, top tier. The staff is wonderful, so good to see a familiar face, they treat me so well. The place is 5 star for Cuba. Can’t wait to go back!

Large and spacious room. Jorge is very kind, he also speaks perfectly English. He gave us a lot of information on what to do and see in Playa Largo and in the surroundings and also a selection of the best restaurants that were affordable as a quality/price. It has a generator that turns on in the evening, so no problem if there is no electricity. Two steps from the beach, but slightly off-center compared to the main streets and the best restaurant area. We still talk about a small village that crosses in 10 minutes on foot. Highly recommended!

Excellent place to rest, quiet and aseado

We had a fantastic time arranged by Mr Navi at la casa del Nonno Tomas. Clean, well located and wonderful hospitality. Cars were waiting at the airport to drive us to the house. Mr Navi’s nieces greeted us on arrival and provided useful tips. Nonno Tomas and his son were wonderful hosts who made us feel like family. Breakfast was delicious. We could not recommend this place more highly.

This place is as it was explained and looked - you have your own room and bathroom while you share a kitchen and living room with others. It’s one of many apartments with a similar set up in the building. It is simple, clean, and served its purpose for the two nights I needed to be in Miami for work and needed a place to rest my head. If you’re ok with a hostel experience (which I imagine would be different depending on who your neighbors are), it does the trick and can help save some money while in Miami. It’s a central location, the bed was comfortable, the shower had hot water and good pressure, and it served its propose for me on this trip. There is only street parking available, so if you want to secure a spot nearby, do so earlier in the day/evening. It proved difficult at night and I had to walk about 15 minutes both nights while I was there.

I stayed for one night in a small private room. the host is very responsive even when I called at 2am because I had trouble getting in. It was a peaceful stay expect for the fact that the guest next to me snored loudly & the rooms are divided by a full wall.

My mother lives in the PR, but had a late flight from Aguadilla and didn’t have anyone to take her at the time, So I decided to book here at Medusa’s and Tammy checked my mom in and took her at midnight to the airport. She kept in touch with me the whole time, before and after. Tammy was AMAZING!!! I Don’t have enough space to write all the great things I want to say , but here are the most important: She is committed to help her guests and goes out of her way to make things happen. Had a positive attitude from the start ( when I was just inquiring and didn’t have a reservation yet). My mom felt safe and at home. And things went as smooth as we had discussed over the phone. Overall, we are extremely happy with the stay and services. We will definitely recommend Medusa’s to our family and friends, in and outside of Puerto Rico. And we wish Tammy the best of luck in the future. Thanks for everything!!!!

Excellent place to spend a couple of nights in Bucaramanga. I recommend it with a closed eye. I was initially located in a room that faced the street and was bothered by the noise without any problems. Thank you very much

A very beautiful place close to the tourist area of Medellin, the staff is quite friendly

One of the nicest hostels I’ve stayed at! The beds are big, there are curtains, beds are placed widely apart. I felt like I had a lot of privacy. Amenities were great. Kitchen was clean. Everyone I met was super kind. I would stay here again!

I stayed one night in this beautiful place, everything was perfect. The owners are very friendly and I felt super welcoming. I highly recommend it and hope to return soon!

amazing place. we felt right at home. clear communication with the host. and a cool place. every morning a fresh cup of hot coffee was waiting for us. Which was made with a little hint of cloves I believe. was delicious. very friendly and well arranged. only small point would be not the best wifi in the room. good reason to grab a book instead.
