Wow!!! Jane’s house has to be the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in date. It was beautifully furnished with high quality furniture, linens, crockery etc. Spacious and extremely comfortable in all aspects, slept like a log in the bed, great walk-in shower etc. The tennis court and garden are gorgeous. We loved popping out for a game of tennis in the afternoon. The views are lovely and it’s very peaceful but there are also a couple of pubs and a fish restaurant within easy walking distance. Jane and David are very friendly hosts. I loved this place and would highly recommend a stay. There’s plenty to do in driving distance from the house. We took a trip to Filey and Robin Hoods Bay, both lovely. We also popped to Wilson’s, a cafe and deli in Seamer where they sell gorgeous cakes, sausage rolls etc. We really enjoyed our stay and were so impressed with everything about the place. The photos don’t really do it justice. It’s very beautiful. Thanks Jane and David.

This was a lovely cottage in a very peaceful location beside an old mill. Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Unlike many places, they'd put the heating on before we arrived - it was so warm and cosy we never needed to light the log burner.. Loved the decor. Hosts messaged us when we'd arrived to make sure everything was okay. We definitely recommend Yew Tree Cottage and would book it again if we were revisiting the area.

We loved the cottage! It was truly a hole from home - really well stocked kitchen with all the crockery and utensils (much better than most places), soap etc. Also little extras like some quiches and biscuits and tea and coffee. The surroundings are great for adults and kids - there are animals to see and lambs when we were there. You also often see hares on the road to the cottage, as well as pheasants and we saw a deer one day. It's really well appointed for both inland and coastal experiences (20 mins from Scarborough and half an hour to Dalby forest for example). The host was really friendly and responsive. The only thing I would recommend if you like it dark when sleeping is to have an eye mask as it was very light in the morning coming through the blinds. I would thoroughly recommend this cottage. Five stars!

Our stay at the Snug was amazing! The place was so cosy and in a great location for exploring the area. It was super dog friendly and the hosts were so lovely and gave us lots of recommendations for local walks and restaurants. We would love to come back :)
