Loft vacation rentals in Wayne County

Well thought out space with a cozy feel. Great natural light during the day. Excellent location great restaurants and stores just minutes walking. This is a unique and historical nieghborhood. It’s quiet and great restaurants and grocery is within walking distance. Also quick 10 minute drive to downtown Detroit.

Don is a top notch host, and his place is great. He was extremely flexible with some scheduling changes that we needed and was proactive in checking to see how he could make the stay better. I would 100% stay here again and stay at any property Don has.

I had a wonderful stay at Lisa's loft, which is exactly as described. It's beautifully furnished and filled with very mindfully curated art and design objects. The kitchen is well equipped, and the bed is super comfortable, with really nice pillows and blankets. The location is extremely convenient--right above a hot yoga studio and a 1/2 block away from a free tram ride downtown; it's also close to art museums at the campus of Wayne State University. Lisa is responsive and helpful with any questions. I highly recommend this apartment. Visitors who appreciate interior design and art will especially enjoy this loft rental.

10/10 Stay in a 10/10 Space! Don’s place was everything we hoped for and more. The location was perfect — just a short walk to Eastern Market and other Detroit gems. The loft itself is absolutely beautiful, with a sophisticated urban aesthetic and stunning views of downtown. Communication from Don was outstanding; even though we had no issues, he still checked in to make sure we were all good. Truly a top-tier experience from start to finish!

This was my first Airbnb experience, and I’m happy to say it was a positive one! The place felt cozy and lived-in, like staying at a friend’s home. It’s not pristine or perfect, so if you're super particular, it may not be for you — but if you're more laid-back, it’s a fun and comfortable spot. The location was great, close to lots of activities. A few small notes: the projector wall isn't ideal and may bother some, but since my partner and I were out during the day, it didn’t affect us. Some amenities could be easier to spot, and a couple minor repairs (like the toilet roll holder) would help, though nothing impacted our stay. We did hear other residents, but the host gave a heads-up about noise. Also, if you're not 🍃-friendly, be aware there’s a strong smell when entering the building, though it doesn’t linger into the loft itself. Overall, a great first Airbnb stay.

Rod's Airbnb is an absolute gem! Perfectly situated just minutes from downtown Detroit, it offers an incredible balance of convenience and tranquility. The decor is stunning, creating a truly comfortable and welcoming 'home away from home' atmosphere. For the amazing price, this place is a solid 10! Yes, the building has character – it's an older building, and with that comes a little bit of charm and a tiny quirk: the shower. A quick tip: turn on the water and adjust to your desired temperature before stepping in, and you'll be golden. Honestly, this minor detail is easily overshadowed by everything else this place offers. The neighborhood is incredibly quiet and safe, which made my stay even more relaxing. A special shout-out to Mr. Larry, who was so helpful upon our arrival! Rod himself is an exceptional host going above and beyond to assist with anything needed. The amenities were fantastic! Netflix was already set up, the wifi worked flawlessly, and Rod provided everything needed.

Betty’s Place was incredibly clean, accommodating and well worth the price. The space felt like home away from home. The excitement of the nearby downtown added to the experience and the river walk being so close was top notch. During our stay we had a few questions and Betty was quick to respond and never left us hanging. We can’t wait to travel back to Detroit and stay at Betty’s place again and would recommend this air bnb to others.

Beautiful place located close to downtown. Exactly as pictured and clean. No issues with the neighbors or access and Ryan was really prompt in answering all of our questions. Those are the core things you want in an AirBnB so gave full 5 stars. A few critiques though, the building had awful smells in the common areas (one of our guests left early b/c). Inside the actual unit it was clean and fresh. Secondly, the elevator was out and other residents told us the elevator has been out for several months— that should have been disclosed as one of our party had recent back surgery and also it’s an Airbnb you have to carry in food AND luggage up and down the stairs, this needs a warning. Lastly, his instructions clearly stated extra guests could be added for a fee even if they didn’t spend the night, when we tried to confirm this and pay the fee our question was basically glossed over and our plans for dinner had to be canceled at the last minute. Other than that perfect spot for our needs.
