Monthly Rentals in Wauzeka

Such a wonderful loft guesthouse, with large windows that invite in light and lovely views of a well-tended family farm. Kayla and Jerrell have an amazing spot here in the hollows of rural Grant County! Walking the wooded back roads was a treat: lots of beautiful farms with long histories, deer, wild turkeys and raptors, almost no cars, and the occasional Amish horse and buggy. Near enough to take a long walk (12 miles round trip) to the little town of Boscobel. Spunky cows outside the yard to the guesthouse, cats, a friendly farm dog. Farm fresh eggs. I would love to return on my next visit to see family in the area. For my tastes, I couldn’t do better.

Cute cabin and beautiful view, close to hiking! Extra bonus of doggy treats in the freezer. Super quiet and secluded. Wonderful firepit outside with computable chairs. Beds cozy. Kitchen was stocked with what we needed to cook. Bathroom very clean! We shared the kitchen with a lot of lady bugs but it’s that time of year so we understood. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

We had a GREAT time at Isaac’s place. We arrived in a snowstorm that increased our travel time by 50% but Isaac’s checking approach was so easy and straightforward that it made us wearied travelers feel right at home. The home was spotless clean and beautifully decorated for Christmas. We had a great family gathering with our “boys” and their wives. We did go for a brief hike at Wyalusing state park— breath-taking views, especially with the fresh snow cover.
