Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Waikanae Beach

It was an absolute delight to stay here. The decor is fabulous, the location to the beach is too. Very dog friendly. The beds are comfortable and the cotton sheets fresh & crisp! Kitchen is small but perfectly formed with all you need. Thoughtful fan in the bedroom. Great hosts. We definitely want to return albeit without our bikes, the only negative to this fab place, and only because of the bikes, was the number of steps up to the house :)

Superb and peaceful. The house is very comfortable to stay in, with space to cook, relaxing on the deck outside or in the lounge. I would recommend:)

We had a fantastic stay and were made to feel very welcome with wine and chocolate upon arrival, a lovely surprise. Easy communication with host. A clean, comfortable and homely batch with all the necessary amenities. Felt very private and safe with a great sized garden to relax in. Perfect for our weekend away by the beach. We spent Xmas and new year here. The house has a great outlook over Kapiti Island and there is a comfortable homey lounge with a nice indoor/outdoor flow. The Pohutakawa’s next door were in bloom. We had the grandkids over and they loved the spa pool. There is a mezzanine off one of the bedrooms with an awesome amount of Lego. So, heaven for kids to go up there and have a bit of a play. Huge selection of board games etc and Texas Holdem poker was a hit with our crew. The oven takes a bit of a fiddle and a couple of go’s to get the hang of it. The driveway can be a challenge. We were mainly here to catch up with family, but enjoyed some of the local sights , including the car museum and the Barry Hadfield Nikau forest. Carolin is responsive and overall a great time was had by all.

We had a wonderful time at Ros's place. Waikanae Beach was a perfect place for our month long stay, with the beach just a few minutes walk away. The house has a lovely interior, the photos don't do it justice. We especially liked having breakfast in the outdoor space. Most of all we enjoyed exploring the area on the bikes.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The setup was perfect for our family. Our kids especially appreciated the thoughtful touch of beach toys, books, and games, which kept them entertained during downtime. The kitchen was hands down the best we've ever encountered in an Airbnb—well-stocked, modern, and spacious, making meal prep a breeze. The location was ideal, close to everything we wanted to explore. We also loved having the BBQ to use, which made for some great family dinners. Overall, a fantastic place for families looking for comfort, convenience, and a little extra attention to detail. Highly recommend!

Everything was perfect for us at Debbie's place. It is such a beautiful spot. It was a fantastic weekend. The climax was the perfect weather to visit Kapiti Island. Wow, what a hidden gem! This little farmhouse was private, clean, quiet, surrounded by gorgeous NZ bush and had thoughtful touches throughout! The kids loved the stream, we loved the comfortable beds and kitchen amenities, and the backyard was just magic with the outdoor fireplace and native birds. Farm fresh eggs, milk and butter, fresh drinking water, and firewood ready to go were such welcoming surprises too! We can’t wait to come back!

This is an absolutely stunning house. The views are amazing, access to the beach, three beautiful bedrooms, well stocked kitchen with all cooking facilities and utensils we needed, etc. Easy parking, access to excellent cafes and local takeaways. Highly recommended to all. This was just what we needed.

Amazing Amazing and Amazing! To wake up to this view was out of this world! Then having the awesome access to the beach. Everything you require is at the house….may be a little more expensive than some of the other Kapiti properties. But it is worth every penny! Thanks Julie and Kelly (the very helpful site Manager)

Magical! We adored our long weekend here. The perfect getaway for some relaxation and beautiful surroundings. Our kids loved the animals and us adults loved all the games and hot tub. Will absolutely visit again.

We loved our stay here! The place was beautiful and the backyard was incredible with big beautiful trees for privacy as well as a great pool and tennis court. The house is well spread out for a big group and Angela’s communication was perfect. Will definitely be recommending to others :)

Nessa and Stefan were the besthosts! They made us feel welcome, comfortable as soon as we arrived. We actually took up an offer to stay in their beautiful home in Belmont as the Boulcott home was given to a couple who booked and needed to extend their stay. I highly recommend a stay with them or in their Boulcott property as they go out of their way to provide the perfect stay in immaculate and comfortable surroundings. Stefan’s coffee and home made honey and breakfast cereals were exceptional! A 10/10 stay with 10/10 hosts! Thank you for your hospitality and friendly conversations. All the best.

An absolutely gorgeous house! Lots of space indoors and out. The kitchen had everything we could need, including milk, bread, cereal, and jam for hreakfast. We both wished we were staying a lot longer!
