This is a gorgeous home with stunning views of Lake Como. Very comfortable, quiet, and private. We greatly enjoyed our stay. It is important to have your own car to get to this location as walking to town would be challenging. Once we discovered the parking lots in town, using the car to get back and forth was not a problem. Highly recommend this home.

Great stay in an absolutely great location. By skipping the busiest parts of Lake Como (Bellagio and Como), we afforded ourselves a great deal in a super peaceful environment. The views of the lake are truly breathtaking....which we enjoyed daily from the balcony. The area is rustic and charming, with a terrific cafe at your front door (Umberto is a wonderful host!)...and another 5+ restaurants within walking distance. The drive to Bellagio and Como is no more than 30 minutes and Lecco is half that...we also ventured to the charming nearby wine country that was only 1 hour away. Very spacious accommodations with most everything you might need....and super large grocery stores nearby for anything you may have forgotten. Rafaella was super helpful and very communicative. All in all, an excellent stay, a great value and a place you'll remember for years to come!

Giulia's place had an amazing location, steps from the train with our luggage, a restaurant right next door, grocery store minutes away, and a beautiful short walk to the water with shops and restaurants there. Varenna, while very nice, is very busy, we are so happy we stayed in Mandello del Lario. The apartment itself is in a very secure block, the style is bohemian which we enjoyed as we were seeking to relax. And what sold us and did Not disappoint was the view from the terrace in the morning. Everything else was great, it's a quiet area, the surrounding houses seemed upscale, with families and school kids doing their day to day activities. We would absolutely go back to this airbnb and already regretted not staying for 4 days instead of the 3 we booked. Thanks Giulia , hope to visit Mandello del Lario again soon !

Everything was great. Breakfast was wonderful, apartment was clean always gave fresh towels. Good parking for car with trailer and motorcycles could be in the garage. Host was super friendly and lovely. Almost like grandma's at home. Nice location in the mountains. Highly recommended accommodation.

Excellent location, close to restaurants and historic landmarks. Space is bright and comfortable. Hosts generously provided basic breakfast items in the refrigerator; milk, juices, yogurt, water, pastries, and coffee to enjoy. Host was very responsive, accommodating, and understanding of some travel delays. I spent my birthday there and they made it very special. Bergamo is a beautiful place and this apartment is perfect for your visit.

The apartment is in a great location close to the ferry, and close to the central part of Varenna where restaurants and bars and grocery shops are. Also close to the Monastero gardens, and the path up to the castle. The apartment is large with 2 bedrooms, living area, outside deck area, kitchen, small porch, full bathroom. It is off the main street so is very quiet. At this time of year in November many places are closed so need to check what is open. The ferry across to Bellagio is well worth the trip with boats running almost every 30 minutes.

Had a wonderful time at Donata’s place. Lovely renovated space with comfortable bed, great shower and kitchen/lounge with everything you would need for a long or short stay. Especially enjoyed hearing the church bells each day. 10 min walk to train station although Donata kindly picked us up on our arrival. Short walk down to the lake where we enjoyed sitting and having a coffee and a gelato and watching the world go by. Supermarket 3 mins up the road. Don’t hesitate to stay here. It’s lovely.

Amazing view in a peaceful location, apartment was very clean, cosy and beautiful. The view to the Como lake was breathtaking! Would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quiet and beautiful place. Hosts were very kind and responsive.
