Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Van Buren County

we fell in love with this home before we even walked inside...it was perfect for our mother/daughter crafting weekend getaway. Perfect amount of space and a master bathroom big enough to live in! Super sweet host & very helpful. Most comfy beds we may have ever slept on! Clean and had everything we needed. Short drive into Smithville for some hometown restaurants & Walmart!! To top off our perfect weekend...it snowed all day and was so beautiful to watch from the big windows. Also watched deer & many cardinals play in the snow. We can't wait to go back!!!

I had an extended stay at this wonderful property. The house is located in a very beautiful, private and serene setting. The location is very convenient to shopping, parks, Cookeville and main roads. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything you could need during your stay. There are an extra touches that make the house feel welcoming and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here!

It was amazing and she went over and beyond with Christmas decorations. She was very helpful with everything we needed. Would do it again.

Jongee’s place is absolutely beautiful. Everything was clean and neat. Jongee stopped by, introduced herself and gave us some goodies as a welcoming gift. She gave suggestions of where to go eat and just all around friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Sparta.

Nice old house near the Caverns that slept our group of 4 comfortably. Cozy place and great host communication!

Great place to stay

The family that hosts’ their childhood home their parents built: are wonderful people that are proactive and attentive to their guests. The home is clean- un-scented! And well appointed with just about anything you could ask for or hope to find in a “home like” stay [Extra bedding, plenty of towels, just about every kitchen gadget and appliance, reading materials, entertainment both indoors, and out) the whole house heating system works extremely well, keeping every room adequately and evenly warmed, the propane fireplace is beautiful and serves the home well. Sometimes it can be hard to fathom (14) people being able to sleep in a home that size : 4bedrooms/2.5 baths {2 Kings, 2 Queens, 2 bunk beds=4, and 2 twins} without pains! yet - the family has done it perfectly- and I wouldn’t change a thing. Our entire family looks forward to returning to experience the other seasons there as well!

We had an amazing time with our family and friends before they head back to college/work. Our boat is at Hurricane Marina and the drive there was less than 15 minutes- which was very nice! We enjoyed playing pool and games. House had everything you needed and was clean and comfortable! We highly recommend this place and Michelle was super responsive! Thank you for sharing!

Kelly was great, very accommodating and flexible. Her place is so cute, clean and comfy. I would love to come back in the summer to take advantage of the Lake.

Loved this little place, everything was close by and the little town nearby was perfect to spend a free day on our trip. The room was very clean and the hosts were very helpful and kind. Everything we could need was provided and loved staying here! We also loved the muffins!! Thank you to the hosts for this amazing stay :)

Perfect home away from home for fisherman. The carport for boat rigging and battery charging was great. Cozy inside with all you need. And Mary was a pleasure to meet.

This is my second time staying at the “Fiddle”. Great location and very very clean. I’d recommend this location to everyone.
