This is a great house in Mestia within walking distance of the city centre. The house is very warm and cosy, even in winter. Davit is a great host — friendly and helpful. The last time I visited Mestia, I stayed outside the town, in a quiet forested area. This time, being closer to the centre, I noticed that the dogs barking at night could be a bit disturbing. However, this is not specific to this house, it’s just that there are many dogs in Mestia, so keep that in mind. Overall, I highly recommend this place. It’s a lovely house with a great host. A gorgeous drive in breathtaking scenery, then a bowl of hot soup and fresh bread waiting for us in a beautiful, clean and perfectly updated home with incredible charm and love. Tamta was the most amazing host with perfect communication and an eye for design and hospitality. Tamta and Emma made all of our meals, lit fires for us and welcomed us with local specialities like cucumber and tomato salad with walnuts, homemade cheese, tkemali, and mchadi. The bedrooms were clean, spacious and warm and there was plenty of light and hot water. There are several breathtaking walks from the house-we love animals and enjoyed seeing the pigs, boars, cows, and friendly local dogs. I wish we had reserved a week. There was so much to do for families that love the outdoors, history, and reading by the fire. We went home with our bags full of quinces, local honey and incredible memories of Georgia! Thank you, Tamta for giving us such a gift!

Very cozy place in a very picturesque location. The view of the illuminated temple at night on a hill deserves special attention. Impeccably soft and cozy bed, in which it was especially comfortable to fall asleep to the soothing noise of the river. Communication with the hosts is simply super, helped with everything and it was just cool to communicate. I could not but please the location of the cottage, in a quiet neighborhood but a 3-minute walk from the center! If you find yourself in Svaneti, this place will be the perfect place for your trip. Highly recommend!

Peaceful Stay in a Cozy Cottage I recently stayed in a charming cottage for one night, and it was a wonderful experience. The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and had a warm, inviting atmosphere. The surrounding area was peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The host was friendly and ensured everything was in place for a comfortable stay. Waking up to the sounds of nature was a highlight. I only wish I could have stayed longer! Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet retreat.

This cabin is in the MOST idilic mountain range. You will feel like you are in total privacy with views to die for. The cabin is clean, cosy and much bigger than I expected. I had a bit of trouble finding it which was not the fault of the host and my car got a bit stuck on a muddy road. The owners came and got my car out and made sure we were very comfortable and ok. We had breakfast with up at the farm which is offered by the hosts parents. Honestly it was one of the best meals I have ever had!!!!! Such beautiful fresh food. Generous and friendly family who made us feel right at home. We love it here!!!

Great cabin. Our second time staying here. Will return again if we have the opportunity. Ketevan and her family are very responsive and the cabin is cute and well equipped.

Awesome view and good place to spend the time.

The place was magical and everything from the mountains views to the restaurants in area was incredible, it was close to Mestia and other attractions in the mountains that we explored through our visit. Before reaching there, the road was a bit rough but nothing we didn’t expect, The stay was very clean with all the amenities we expected and more which was amazing !

The apartment was good sized for two bedroom. There was a nice balcony off the back. The views from the apartment are beautiful with the mountains. The hosts are very nice and friendly. It was dog friendly. One thing to note is the staircase up to the apartment is a spiral staircase which can be difficult for people with limited mobility. We enjoyed our stay here in the beautiful city of Mestia.
