Our last minute booking to be near family after the holidays was met with a quick response and recommendations at the ready. The house had lots of space for our family of 5 to sleep and relax. We would definitely book and stay here again when we are visiting family.

This was a phenomenal find for us after having some unfortunate luck with another spot fall through last minute, Yellow Rose Airbnb came through with a private, peaceful stay for our girls weekend getaway in the mountains.

This is the most unique house we’ve ever stayed in. It is built around rocks coming out of the mountainside and has a lot of quirky, one of a kind features. It was obviously built with a lot of attention to detail. The bedrooms are all up a spiral staircase which would be nearly impossible if you have mobility issues, but we loved the character. It was spotlessly clean, close to incredible restaurants, Asheville and Biltmore are nearby, and it’s secluded and cozy. We had a small issue with the A/C and Jason was out in only a few minutes to help. He gave us some tips for the area and some history for the house. What wonderful service!

We had the best weekend getaway. The cabin was so cozy, with a beautiful view. The wrap-around deck was fantastic for the dogs and us to relax on. In the evening we could come in from the cold and enjoy the fireplace. We would love to go back. I wish we could have stayed longer!!

We had a great stay here! Michael and Jenny were responsive and gracious in their communication. We especially loved the porch and drinking coffee while listening to the birds each morning! We would stay again if we come back to the area!

This was an incredible cabin for myself and four others, especially for the price per night we ended up paying. The house had everything we needed for the stay (soap, kitchenware, bedding, extension cables, things like that), and I particularly enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, and gas fire place. The location was great, within 30 minute of driving we could reach a variety of mountains, lakes, and rivers, including the smoky mountain national park. I did not go to the Cherokee casino this trip, but that is also quite close if that is what you're looking to do. Driving up or through the mountains can be stressful, but I had no issues or particularly scary drives when coming from Athens, Georgia. Duncan provided all of the information needed in the Airbnb description, and he responded very quickly the one time I did have a question for him. If you enjoy mountains and fishing, this is a perfect place to stay.

Our stay at the Snookery was wonderful. The house was clean, extremely spacious, and the views were wonderful. Between the hot tub, available fire pit, and the two decks on the back that overlook the mountains, there is enough to do at the house you may not want to leave. Great place for a peaceful getaway. Aaron was very quick to respond to questions we had during our stay. I would 100% rebook if we ever want to return to Asheville.

Tom was extremely responsive any time I reached out to him. The house was spotless when we arrived and has some really great views of the French Broad River as well as some mountains.

Thank you for sharing your house with us. We really enjoyed the 1up games and air hockey.

Hosted our annual family get together at this location and it did not dissappoint. Beautiful home and surrounding property. Very quiet and peaceful with very nice hiking trails with elevation on property. Had 5 cars and a motorcycle in our group and had no problem parking. Fire area was very nice and we saw some good sized fish in the pond. Kitchen was well furnished and worked well for our large meals. Grill out back is nice and clean. Used the clubroom for gamenight a few times and had a great time. Love that every room has a balcony, you could lounge on during the morning. All you could hear were the birds or frogs at night. Had to contact the owner about a minor issue and they responded immediately. Highly reccommend this home and these hosts.

Absolutely beautiful view, and Hal was very accommodating and extremely helpful. Looking forward to coming again. Absolutely amazing host.

Such a charming spot and gorgeous vintage home! The lower level was so perfect for our kids and for cozy movie night. Bob was an excellent host. We’ll return for sure!

This was our third time staying there. Very neat and clean. Equipped with everything you need. Peacefully serene with the porch and dock to take in the lake. Will definitely be back again!
