Banyan Camp

I had a wonderful time at Banyan Camp. My vegan meal requests were easily accommodated and I felt really looked after. The floating dinner was incredible, a real once in a lifetime experience. I thought I would feel scared at night without walls, and the constant risk of animal entry - but I actually felt super secure and slept perfectly. I also loved exploring the lake by paddleboard! I have been recommending to all my friends who are in Sri Lanka! Thank you so much for my special time here x

Rawana Safari Cottage 2

AlinaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
For us, it was the perfect place to visit the National Park. It's only a few minutes drive and the host organizes the tour himself at a really good price. In addition, a driver was organized for us by Hiriketiya for a local price! Most of them want very expensive prices from tourists, so we were grateful to have found such a great host. We had everything we needed. Thank you for the great hospitality! We would come back anytime.

Rawana Safari cottage 2 AC ROOMS

FabioRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and my daughters were excited to have their own little house! It was well set up with a restaurant across the road for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and also packed breakfast for the safari if needed. The hosts were very friendly and showed us lots of birds and animals in the lush garden. They also shared badminton nets and cricket bats for our daughters to play and put up big hammocks to relax in. They were able to arrange everything such as the safari tour, a trip to the local Buddhist temple and to see a colony of fruit bats, and a car to our next destination. I’d recommend going for the 6 hour safari as you can go a bit further into the park and not be around as many jeeps. We saw elephants, mongoose, monitor lizards, the giant Sri Lankan squirrel, crocodiles, wallowing buffalo and 20+ kinds of birds. Recommended as a place to stay near the safari park entrance.
