Ganz in der Nähe des Standortes, am Fuße der Wimitzer Berge befindet sich auch der idyllisch gelegene Goggausee. Als kleiner Badesee auf halben Weg zwischen der Bezirksstadt Feldkirchen und der ländlichen Marktgemeinde Weitensfeld, liegt er fernab von touristischen Zentren in einem Landschaftsschutzgebiet. Das Berghäuschen umfasst etwa 59 m² Wohnfläche, verfügt über 2 Schlafzimmern, 1 Wohn– und Essraum mit Küche, sowie 2 Bäder und eine etwa 13 m² große Terrasse. Es liegt auf ca. 1000m Seehöhe.

Wooden hut by the river

The wooden cabin is located in the garden of hosts directly on the river(Lieser), only a 5-10 minute walk from the city center. Right foot path is closed from 31 March 2025 because of Alpe Adria bike path Bau. Optimal for bike vacation,hiking, toilet, shower 30 m in host house. (Optional also use of washing machine possible) Amenities: fridge in the cabin. BBQ, fireplace, cooking facilities(outdoor), solar shower outdoors. For fun:swimming in the river, table tennis, shuttlecock, darts, etc.

Dwarfs cabin is a wooden cottage located at 1000m above sea level with nice views of Triglav and the rest of Julian Alps. Water comes from a fresh spring, which is shared between four neighbours. Private patio and garden gives you plenty of privacy. You can relax, hike, mountain bike or telework with really fast WiFi. Make a barbecue in the outdoor kitchen. Kids can enjoy a playhouse and a trampoline. There's a fireplace where you can bake marshmallows, hot dogs or bake corn on the fire.

Hohentauern is located at 1,274 meters above sea level and is the perfect place for your hiking or skiing holiday. After a strenuous tour, you can reflect on the day in our private sauna or in front of a cozy wood stove. Your dog is of course also welcome.

Cozy alpine hut on Goldeckstraße

Away from the hustle and bustle is our beautiful alpine hut. Right on the edge of the forest, adjacent to a farm with chickens, sheep, pigs and cows, you can escape from everyday stress and enjoy nature. My parents-in-law also live on the grounds in the nearby main house. They are also happy to assist you at any time with any questions. As a small note : In the summer months (ca from May to October) our cows and sheep are on the alpine pasture.

Our beautiful cabins are real originals. They are all over 100 years old and we have lovingly renovated and prepared them for you. Take a break in the mountains. Spend relaxing days in an old hut. You will not miss anything. WiFi, TV, WC shower, towels and bed linen is self-evident. You can walk to the slopes and lifts and also have restaurants and shops in town. In summer you can explore the mountains from the huts.
