Family-friendly vacation rentals in Trnovo District

Perfect for the idea of a relaxing vacation they had in mind. The wooden house is located at the end of a street above a hill, and immediately transmits hospitality and peace. In a strategic position if you want to move by car to Ljubljana which is only half anhour away, the postumia caves and bled lake are less than an hour away. In the house we found a beautiful stove, which heated us very well throughout the vacation. Inside the Maki house will make you find everything you need to enjoy your rest among birds and silence. Kitchen complete with everything, clean sheets and towels, coffee machine, internet with wifi. With us Maki was always kind in giving us all the directions and welcomed us with a very welcome cutting board of cold cuts and cheese. What can I say... if you are looking for a place of peace and without too many frills, I recommend it! We look forward to coming back!

I spent a few days at Špelas place and absolutely loved it. The apartment was very cozy and clean. In the mornings I enjoyed sitting outside on the balcony. The neighborhood is quiet and felt safe, even at night. It’s pretty easy to reach the city as the bus station is right next to the building. Špela was an amazing host, she even came to pick me up after the taxi driver left me out at the wrong address to go to the apartment with me. She was very communicative and genuinely interested in my well-being. She even has a guest book at home and you can tell how much she cares about the guests having a good time. For the check in and check out, she was completely flexible and let me stay until the afternoon so it was convenient to store my luggage until my bus left. Can 10/10 recommend her as a host! Our vacation at Tina and Igor's place was absolutely perfect. The house was beautiful, clean, and exactly as pictured. We especially appreciated the accurate description and photos, which gave us a clear idea of what to expect. Igor was a fantastic host – very helpful and responsive, and he's instructions were easy to follow. We would definitely stay here again!

Hi All, This place is super nice for nature lover and if you wish to enjoy the calm. It's an easy place to live and everything is working and operational inside. You feel to be in the middle of nature but just 5min from the supermarket where you can everything (3 big shop close to each other) and you are just 20 min to ljubljana center by the riverside, church, castle. Maki was super nice from the first meet and give us all the tips we needs. He love his place and made something different than usual, you feel home. So if you plan to visit slovenia or just chill out in a relax atmosphere this place is great

Gasper and Eva's apartment is spacious and beautifully decorated. It's a quick walk to Old Town. Gasper and Eva were friendly and prompt communicators and gave me some great tips for Ljubljana. I would definitely stay there again!

Everything went smooth! Apartment is as per description and very spacious.

This place was wonderful- it had all of the listed amenities and more. The main bathroom was beautiful! The beds were super comfortable. There was sooooo much space in this place- space to hang out, cook, work, and spend time outside. The hot tub was a wonderful bonus and we LOVED having the gym space (treadmill, elliptical, rowing machine, weight machine). The rooftop terrace has beautiful views to the mountains and of the surrounding area. The kitchen was super well stocked with everything you need to make a gourmet meal. This was a great short term stay but would be an incredible long-term stay as well. Access and parking were easy. We also highly recommend the restaurant down the street (400 Gradi), which had the most wonderful Italian food we have had outside of Italy 🤗 Vekoslav was a friendly, proactive host, who had great recommendations and was a joy to chat with. We would love to come back in the future.

Place is value for money. Great location as it is very near Ljubljana airport. Unit is so cozy, feels like home. You have a river just in front of the unit and it was very refreshing for some walks in the area. Miha the host is very responsive. I truly recommend this place if you are in the area.

One of the best Airbnb's we have ever stayed in. Perfect location, great host, communications, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped, bedroom is spacious with lots of storage, living area is comfortable and the bathroom is a little small but perfectly functional. Best of all is the amazing view of the castle - the apartment is on a lively pedestrian street *but very quiet inside) and close to everything you will want to do in Ljubljana. We had an amazing time and we can't wait to return.

Petra's Airbnb has a perfect location right in the center of Ljubljana. It's a good size for one or two people and you have everything you need. The place was calm, clean and nicely styled. Chat contact with Petra was amazing, she's very friendly and helpful and quick to respond. We highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Svetla’s place over new years in Ljubljana. Location is amazing and the apartment is lovely. Host was extremely responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone spending a couple of nights in this gorgeous city!

We had a great time at this apartment where we stayed for 7 nights. Its location is perfect: the highway is easily and quickly accessible and the city center is within walking distance. And all in peace! Parking has sufficient parking spaces (no problem parking). The apartment itself is very nice, spacious and comfortable. A peaceful oasis! We particularly want to thank Goga for his responsiveness to one of our requests. Thank you so much for your hospitality and kindness, which contributed to the success of our stay.

The apartment is located in a quite area about 20 minutes away from Lubiana. Good starting point also to reach the Postumia Cave and the Lake of Bled. There is a good bakery on the main road at about 500 mt. There are 2 dedicated parkings for the cars. The apartment, located on the first floor, is spacious, clean, well designed and with a lot of kitchen tools, glasses and dishes. Big TV, coffee machine, toaster, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There are 3 separate bedrooms, we were 7 people and there was enough space and privacy for everyone. The owner also left some fresh fruit, candies and chocolates for us- thanks, Highly recommend for your stay in Slovenia

We spent Christmas in this cozy hut while a snowstorm swept over the mountain, and this charming cabin kept us warm, sheltered, and safe—turning it into an unforgettable holiday experience. Our nights were spent soaking in the hot tub under a blanket of stars, surrounded by majestic mountains. It felt like stepping into a dream. Did we have to put in some effort to get the fire going and warm the cabin? Absolutely. Did we need to heat up the Viking pool with firewood? Yes. Was the cabin a high-end luxury retreat? No. But that’s not what a mountain cabin is about. It’s about being immersed in breathtaking nature, enjoying a fantastic location that’s easy to reach, and having all the practical amenities you need (they even have a dishwasher!). This place is pure magic, and we’ll absolutely be back.

Petra’s place is fantastic for a larger group. It has EVERYTHING you need and is great for keeping kids entertained as well e.g. large and well-equipped playroom and pool. Petra was the most amazing hostess; very responsive, lots of great local recommendations, flexible and extremely friendly and welcoming. Petra made us feel right at home and we will definitely be back in Slovenia again.

This is a great apartment run by a lovely family. The apartment is larger than it looks on the photos (has its own massive bathroom and kitchen and bedroom) and has everything you need and seems brand new. You can even use the garden and pool if the weather allows. The hosts are very welcoming, child friendly and easy to communicate with.

A hostess with a warm heart. The destination was a paradise in the middle of nature but with every comfort. Beautiful views from the various balconies. Located along a wonderful river. Nice walks. Top pool to refresh. What a luxury in the beautiful Slovenian nature.

A bright and spacious basement suite. The place is ideal for a longer stay with a dedicated work space and well appointed kitchen. The location is easily walkable to bus stops, grocery stores and the biology and Biotechnical Faculty of the University fo Ljubljana. Marko was a responsive and welcoming host. While as others have mentioned you will notice a smell from the pool when first entering the suite, however I was never bothered by the smell after a few minutes inside.
