Monthly Rentals in Treaslane

Great comfortable van in a good location to all the highlights of the islands (especially the northern ones). Unfortunately we were unlucky to experience one of the first major storms of the autumn. Luckily, the van is equipped with a large and good selection of films, which got us through the storm (we always wanted to watch all three Lord of the Rings in the extended version in one go). We'll be back again!

We thoroughly recommend a stay at Joyce and Brian’s lovely studio apartment. It was so well laid out with gorgeous views of the loch. The foreshore is easily accessible and it was fun to do some mudlarking. It’s a nice central location, and with a car you’re easily placed to explore Skye. The gardens around the studio are lovely and Joyce and Brian were really personable, offering home grown herbs if we needed. There was an added bonus of some friendly sheep in the field next to the studio.

Perfect place for a quiet peaceful retreat. Maggi made us feel very welcome and was really helpful during a storm related power outage with hot water for drinks. The hut is small but very efficiently kitted out with all the essentials. Amazing pillows and a very warm cozy duvet make this place perfect even during colder nights. The chickens on site also supply the best eggs for all your eggy needs during your stay. The two large hounds are also very friendly and always asking for a little cuddle. The hut is quite remote and off the track but Maggi’s instructions made it very clear how to find it.

High quality small cottage in a very convenient position on the road between Portree and Uig. Well furnished with all necessities provided. While the property looks like a bungalow, it has a converted roof where the housekeepers live, so there is some noise from above the property.
